As someone who loves Asian food because it can be vegan, but in a way that doesn't just try to imitate a carnivore's diet, I was disappointed by the hit and miss nature of the food. Too many options on the menu were imitating meat products, or featured seitan, which I like, but my vegetarian friends I was dining with despise. The Tofu balls were nothing like what I expected, and tasted like weird 'cheese' stuffed meatballs. I was excited for the edamame dumplings, but they were a little dry, and the mixture could have used more texture as well (carrots perhaps?). Tamale was dry and bleh.
I would recommend the soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), cantonese dumplings (Har Gow) (I didn't like but my friends did), Ravioli (my favorite, very flavorful), Dan Dan Noodles (so good! just as good as Han Dynasty!).
