For over 20 years, Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana has been Hilton Head’s premier culinary destination, featuring award-winning regional Italian cuisine, impeccable service and warm hospitality. Our innovative culinary team prides itself on sourcing local fresh products and the finest imported ingredients. Menu choices include homemade pasta dishes, delectable veal, prime meats, fresh seafood and house-made desserts. We are also renowned for our extensive yet approachable wine list.

    Our Demonstration Cooking Classes are presented classroom style, where you will watch the chef prepare his menu, providing step-by-step procedures and helpful hints for each dish. The class includes a welcome glass of Prosecco, a generous tasting of all the dishes prepared, a glass of wine and a recipe booklet to take home. Our classes are always fun and informative and the company is always congenial.           Six of us sat the chef’s table upstairs. It was a great dining experience. Service was excellent and the food as always was great.

          Fun birthday evening at Michael Anthony's where I was offered numerous birthday greetings. The Sips and Bits dinner with wine pairings was special.

          We were waiting for a traveler to arrive which caused us to be 30 minutes late for our reservation. We called when we realized that we would be late. Michael Anthony’s response was so kind and understanding. We had an incredibly delicious meal with a fabulous birthday dessert for our “Birthday Boy.” What a wonderful night! Michael Anthony’s never disappoints.

          We vacationed in Hilton head island for our kids spring break and decided to try Michael Anthony’s (to also celebrate my husband’s birthday) for dinner. The food was amazing! The ambiance and service was also exceptional. We had a gnocchi pasta and the shrimp pasta (with a spaghetti noodle). 🤌🏾 Both were VERY delicious! A must try if you’re visiting the area.

          I usually at least like what I order, but the seafood cannelloni was not very good. The seafood was all mashed together and I found just a few adequate pieces of lobster. The pasta tasted like flour.

          A little bit of disjointed service. Slow in taking our order for cocktails. We ordered our appetizer-calamari. While eating our appetizer, we ordered our main course and it arrived too quickly, we hadn’t finished our appetizer and barely had opened our wine. Felt rushed. Food was very good thoigh

          The best meal we have had on HHI in a long time, and we love the restaurants here! The ingredients were so fresh and the selections were very creative! Make reservations and ask for Michelle! You will thank me later!
