MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open on East Boston's waterfront. Our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated directly on the edge of the pier with panoramic views of the downtown Boston Skyline. The restaurant is surrounded by the water on three sides with a massive patio that is perfect for date night and large groups at all hours of the day. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, and a gorgeous lighting profile make this location the perfect destination for all occasions. MIDA East Boston also features a 25 seat bar that is open for walk-ins seven days a week. We are thrilled to be a part of this neighborhood and cannot wait to welcome you into our home. XOXO MIDA

    The stunning interior and exterior views are matched by the wonderful food! We began with meatballs, mussels and perfect Manhattans. Our meal continued to soar from there. Here’s a place entirely deserving of its James Beard 2025 nomination!

    Reservation was for Valentine’s Day. Overall, the waiter was great and the ambiance was wonderful. Food was not as I expected due to a limited menu which we were not aware of. Would return but for their regular menu.

    Bring back the duck please, it is extremely missed. Otherwise the rest of the menu is amazing. The short rib lasagna is great as well as the pizzas.

    I had the BEST time at MIDA in East Boston! The food was unbelievable and so was the restaurant and staff. And the view was amazing! My family is mostly vegetarian, and we were really really happy about the options and quality of the vegetarian food at the restaurant. Thank you MIDA!

    A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Each of our entrees were so delicious we were compelled to share, and no one was disappointed. The roaster cauliflower side dish was amazing and a must try.

    We enjoyed the restaurant, the view spectacular, the staff was avaialble , the food good to very good but not memorable. The big challenge of us was the timing. We ordered a drink, our server came back for our meal order before the drinks arrived. They insisted we order our full meal at once ( we prefer to order appetizers 1st then main courier but I get it) App 1 was on our table in a minute ( three meatballs) Our drinks were delivered three / four minutes after app 1 Our ceaser salad rolled out very shortly after and our main course ( a shared pasta ) out before we would finish our apps / drinks No one stoped by for a with dinner wine order that I had advised the server we would order Dessert was very good To say we felt rushed for our $190.00 dinner (including tip) is an understatement -what the heck is the rush --if you insist on being responsible for pace than do it right !
