MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

    Very ‘energetic’ crowd. Not a good choice if you want to have a quiet conversation with your dining partner.

    Delicious dinner in an elegant setting! We shared 3 apps and 2 pasta entrees. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive. Great cocktails - as well as wine recommendations. Look forward to our next visit to MIDA!

    Amazing food - the homemade carbonara is a must. Lemon sauce give us a unique twist.

    Great restaurant but server was a bit rude and not attentive. Possibly just having a rough night. At one point he was talking to other staff members and kept point at us which made the table feel a little uncomfortable. Fantastic food and ambiance, just probably had the wrong guy on the wrong night which was a bit unfortunate because it made the experience less than ideal

    MIDA is always such a delicious experience and last night was no different. (And the South End location is my favorite!) I love the new menus, service was great and getting to see the view of the kitchen is always cool, too! If made one of best friend’s first time in Boston special. Be back soon!

    Lovely time sitting at the bar for dinner with a dear friend. Delicious food , attentive service, fantastic espresso martinis The place had a lovely buzz and is clearly a gem of the South End. We’ll be back!!

    Excellent focaccia, arugula pesto burrata and eggplant parm. Gnocchi was good for a hit but too heavy and one note. Wonderful service

    My Bolenese pasta had an unusual weird taste to it. Not what I expected. It also had a nutty texture to it. I will not order it again. The dessert menu was poor, with only two dessert choices plus ice cream. The Tiramisu was not very good. There were no ladyfingers but rather a slice of firm cake. Pork chop and gnocchi dishes were tasty. The cauliflower dish got cold pretty quickly and therefore not as enjoyable. Overall not a good experience at a well known restaurant.
