Serving internationally inspired plant-based deliciousness in London for over 35 years.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. Their six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all.

Mildreds Covent Garden was opened in 2022 and is split over 2 floors. The restaurant offers private hire for parties of 8 - 50.

    Our private dining space is located in the basement of our Covent Garden restaurant. The room has movable seating to assist in creating a flexible and memorable gathering for up to 10 guests. Jane’s table is named after our founder, Jane Muir, who opened the very first Mildreds restaurant in Soho in 1988. Cost of space: from open until 11am, £200 minimum spend per 2 hour seating Please note that we require a deposit to secure the booking, fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours in advance. Any decorations brought to Mildreds will need to be removed and disposed of appropriately by the organiser after the event.

    We really looked forward to our Christmas Dinner at mildreds. Staff was Friendly and it is a cute Place. We had the 44£ 3 course Menu and it was really Bad. Nothing was seasoned and everything was overcooked. For the Price we payed it was an absolute letdown!

    I used to love this place because there aren’t many restaurants with plant-based dishes, and it was always delicious. However, yesterday’s Christmas dinner was bland and greasy, and two tiny flies fell into my champagne glass. Fine, that happens, but when you’re paying £80 for a meal, especially on Christmas evening, you expect it to be outstanding, the kind of meal where you’d lick the plate clean. Unfortunately, it wasn’t tasty at all. I’m a bit disappointed.

    We've eaten here before and of course it was good, it's Mildreds. But the Xmas dinner was extremely poor. Not worth the £44 a head we paid.

    The quality and presentation of their food is amazing. The staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. This place never disappoints! Warm and cozy atmosphere.

    Two very delighted customers, one vegan and one not, but smiles all round! Service was excellent and attentive, very friendly from all staff who even helped with charging my phone when it was running low. We both decided to get the Taste of Mildreds taster menu, very much recommended for first time customers who have an adventurous appetite. We were both full by the end, and definitely look forward to returning soon!

    Really great meal at Mildreds Covent Garden. The food was excellent and the service attentive but unobtrusive. There was a good bush, but not overly loud and we could easy converse. Really impressed, will come again.

    Outstanding food and service. We were welcomed on entry and every member of staff we saw was friendly. The crackers were a great touch for a Christmas meal! 3 courses were just enough to make us full but not uncomfortably so. The presentation was beautiful and it was lovely to be seated in a little alcove with other people also enjoying their Christmas meal a little early. As for the taste, every course was incredible. We tried both the nut roast and the lattice and both were tasty and beautifully complimented by the crispy maple roast potatoes and vegetables and decadent gravies and sauces. I particularly loved the fruitiness of the cranberry apple relish with the Yorkshire puddings!!
