    Overall, my filet was good, but the mashed potatoes and vegetables weren’t quite as hot as I would’ve liked them to be. The drinks were on par, nice and cold, and promptly served. Both the hostess and our server Jana (sp?) were great and made us feel very welcome. We weren’t rushed and had a real nice meal in the bar area, watching the game. I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in Ottawa.

    Food was good, as was the ambiance. Service was exceptional. Was a bit noisy. We stayed about 4 hours and had a very nice lunch overall.

    Always attentive beyond the norm. Food was amazing and plentiful. Great value for the meal and love the ambiance. Our server Nigel was excellent. I’d ask for his section again

    C’est mon restaurant favori. Quand je viens à Ottawa, je réserve ma table et je prends toujours le Portobello Mushroom Chicken. Un délice! 👌🏻

    Our server, Cora, went out of her way to ensure that we had a really enjoyable evening. Even though the walk from the Rideau Centre to Milestones Rideau was a very short one, because it was a very cold night, I was really cold by the time I arrived at the restaurant. I asked for a cup of herbal tea to warm me up. Unfortunately, herbal teat was not on the menu. Cora went out of her way and gave me a cup of hot water with lemon and honey. It was truly appreciated. She checked on us several times during dinner to ensure the meal was fine. We had a wonderful meal and time. Please thank Cora our thanks. Is it possible to add herbal tea or decaf tea to your menu?

    The food was acceptable, but the service was disappointing. Four separate servers introduced themselves to us, saying they would be looking after our table. They were all very pleasant, but the actual service was terrible. Our appetizer arrived long before the drinks we had ordered shortly after arriving, all dishes were plunked on the table, no one stopped to ask if we were enjoying our food, we had to wait far too long to pay our bill. We had made a reservation three days in advance, but our table was waaaaay in the back, in a very noisy corner. The whole restaurant looked as if it could use a good deep clean. We were very disappointed, and we won't be at this branch of Milestone's again.

    We attend a LOT of performances at the NAC and Milestones on Sussex is typically our choice of dinner location before the show. Service is always A1 and the food is always very good. Jan. 2, 2025 before heading to see MJ, we dined at Milestones once again. This experience was totally different that any we previously had. Reservations at 5:15, our orders were taken shorty after sitting down. At 6:00, we STILL had not received our dinners. Asked our waiter twice to check on it an all he could say was that it would be out shortly and apologized for the delay. He knew we were attending a show at the NAC, as we said we had to be out of the restaurant by 7:00. I added that we always leave lots of time before the show so as to really enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. Finally our meals arrived about 6:10. THIS is highly unusual for this Milestones to have a wait this long. Our two meals were very good except.....my veggies of carrots and beans were NOT cooked at all....I mean uncooked, with the sauce poured over them that came with the Portobella Chicken. I did let the waiter know to inform the kitchen....NOT happy! But because of the NOW time crunch, did not want them replaced. I just left them on my plate. Restaurant was way more busy than usual, considering the time of year and the tax holiday but....this was all unacceptable to how a Milestones experience should be. Kind of ruined the beginning of a great evening out.
