                    Went for a friends lunch and it was their first time. They were all loving the peach bellin’s And lunch menu. We had good laughs and great service!

                    Went for Saturday lunch at 12:30. Disappointed that on a Saturday they still had the brunch menu but went with it anyway. Two out of three had a good meal with the Bagetzel but the burger was charred to a crisp even though I asked for "warm pink center" and the fries looked liked they dumped out the bottom of the basket onto my plate. Very disappointing. We had had good results the last few times we've been there.

                    Very disappointed in our first and now likely only experience at this restaurant. We had a party of six including two children. We ordered two Brussel's sprouts appetizer dishes without the chili seasoning. They were served with the seasoning so they brought us two more orders without the seasoning. The Brussel's sprouts were undercooked and hard. Two of the four adults at our table had hairs in their entrees. What are the odds of that? So they replaced the entrees. The waiter was new and was not properly trained and made a number of mistakes with how we were being served. The manager came over and gave a simple apology after we finished our meals. You would think this person would have comped us something but we didn't get anything for this horrible experience with our out of town guests. Needless to say we'er not planning to eat at this restaurant again.

                    It was too loud inside for me, like a warehouse without noise reduction. The food was tasty, but overpriced, $3.50 for 1 bisquit. Had reservations and walked right in to a table which was nice. The late was pretty and tasty. I had a chicken and waffle which was good, but it had cold corn kernels on top. I probably won’t be back, but my friend I went with loved it.

                    Visiting Waco with two other couples from Out of state and decided to try Mili because of an online recommendation. The cocktails were outstanding. The staff was very helpful with the wine and meal selection. The entree’s were outstanding, particularly the shrimp and grits which a couple of people in our party ordered. We had the opportunity to meet the owner, Casey, who came to our table and asked us about our meals. It was a great dinner, and exceeded our expectations!

                    The shrimp and grits were outstanding. The chicken was nothing special and a small portion even though it was listed under larger plates. The salad didn’t have enough dressing. We’ve been here a number of times and it has always been excellent. This was the first time we ordered something that was disappointing.

                    I was disappointed with my first visit to Milo. I know not to expect the service to be stellar in Waco, but it should be good at an establishment like this. Our appetizers took 25 min to arrive and were followed by our main courses approximately 1 minute later. And all of our drinks (both cocktails and soft drinks) still didn’t arrive until about 5 minutes after the food. I’m not even sure how that’s possible. The restaurant comped the drinks, so that was nice, but I’d rather have everything come out when it should. Appetizers were great, main course plates were okay. The hot chicken sandwich that came with a verbal warning of how spicy it is had no spice at all. Almost like they forgot to spice it. Lots of potential with a great space here and a bar that has an excellent selection. The menu sounds great too. It just needs a lot of work on making the execution meet the potential.
