We are open! Come and join us and check out our beautiful new bar and dining area.
The foundation of good Italian cooking is the freshest of ingredients prepared with simplicity, bringing together flavors so no one ingredient overpowers another. Mimmo’s Italian roots begin in his hometown of Bagheria, Sicily. The fresh fruits and vegetables picked from his family’s farm were on the table, or tavola, that night. Our logo of the lemon and lemon flower, or zagara, is a symbol of Sicily’s rich history of growing and exporting lemons, and a reminder of Mimmo’s many memories of lemon picking in his grandfather’s groves. APRIL 30TH 2012 WAS OUR OPENING DAY.
OUR HOURS ARE: MONDAY THRU SATURDAY FROM 5PM. HAPPY HOUR IS MONDAY THRU SATURDAY FROM 5PM TO CLOSE, AT THE BAR AND THE BAR DINING ROOM.

Excellent food and service, consistently. One of my favorites restaurants in Palm Desert. We sat on the heated patio outside and it was quieter.

Our evening at Mimmo’s was fantastic. It was a reunion/celebration, and our waitress could not have been nicer. When we sat down, she took our drink orders. After we were settled, she told us the list of specials( which there were many) and left us to visit. She would occasionally check on us. At one point she asked if we would like appetizers or something else, and we opted for bruschetta and shrimp cocktails (which were one of the specials). We were served and again, left to visit and enjoy our evening. After a while, she returned and asked if we would like something for dinner. We all had some variety of pasta and it was delicious. Finally, after a delicious dinner , dessert was offered. I had “homemade limoncello!” Fantastic! We will definitely return to Mimmo’s. Our waitress (and unfortunately I don’t remember her name) was the best. Very accommodating and was available and helpful. She definitely added to our dining experience.

Great casual Italian food. Great service. Love the Bruschetta. But they don’t carry a rose wine so bring your own if that is your drink of choice.

the owners treat us like family and the food id fantastic. I highly recommend the sausage appetizer. Great food and great service. What more can you ask for from a restaurant.

Mimmos is absolutely fantastic. From the second you walk in to the warm greeting that you get. The food is absolutely delicious and I have never had anything that I didn’t love. The service from the waiters and everyone is terrific. I recommend this restaurant any chance I get.
