   It has been many years since my husband and I ate here and it will be many more till we go again. It is obvious that the chef does not know how to cook a steak to order. We both ordered the marinated skirt steak, mine medium well plus and my husband medium rare. His steak came out very rare, but he made do with it. Mine came out medium rare which I could not eat. The waiter took it back and they brought me another one that was rarer than the first one. At that point, I just told them to forget it. I had already eaten the appetizer (chili shrimp which were delicious) and I didn't want to deal with picking out something else. The waiter and the manager apologized and did handle the situation very well. The waiter did comp our dessert and coffee which was very nice of him. It is a shame that two expensive pieces of steak went to waste instead of the chef cooking it to order.

   Went for prix fixe menu. Lots of choices- everything we had was good. Great deal for $41.

   It was freezing in the ladies room literally. Food was good service was nice wasn’t thrilled with the fact that everyone was seated in the same section.

   Service staff is very welcoming and friendly. However, the wait-staff seemed too small yet the bussing-staff was prolific. The food portions are generous and noise levels are manageable. The food, though, lacked sparkle despite none of the offerings in the menu being complex to make. The Brussels sprouts were soggy, leading one to wonder if they had been pre-cooked and then reheated. The blackened salmon lacked flavor. The filet of sole lacked seasoning and the angel hair pasta bed on which it lay appeared to have been drained from the pot and placed in the plate; a touch of olive oil and garlic would have improved it immensely. Perhaps the restaurant fares better at lunch; a patron who had the sliced steak on a hamburger bun looked highly satisfied with her selection. I may try again to see if the restaurant had an off night.

    Great neighborhood restaurant. You always get a solid, good meal. The staff we attentive a very pleasant weekday dinner.
