Vancouver’s hottest destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine has arrived in Toronto’s vibrant King West neighbourhood.

Minami is the fourth culinary concept from ABURI Restaurants, alongside sister venues Miku Toronto, ABURI TORA, ABURI HANA, and ABURI SUSHI Waterworks further expanding the reach of our trailblazing aburi cuisine within the Toronto culinary scene.

Fashioned to reflect the best of global design, guests are invited to immerse themselves in the space for a multi-sensory dining experience without departing the city.     Join us for a one-of-a-kind floral arranging experience with tickets priced at $150 per person (plus tax and gratuity) for an exclusive Japanese floral arranging masterclass and lunch with renowned Ikebana artist Aya Sugino. This immersive event blends the art of Ikebana with an exquisite dining experience. Your ticket includes a guided Ikebana session with all materials provided (instruction, vase, flowers, and floral decor), followed by Minami’s Signature Lunch Gozen Set. Enjoy a chef’s selection of Aburi-style sushi alongside your choice of Chicken Nanban, Beef Sukiyaki, Aburi Chicken, or Miso Salmon, complemented by miso soup, broccolini goma-ae, salmon tatsuta-age, agedashi tofu, and three seasonal kobachi side dishes. The meal concludes with a delightful coconut panna cotta, paired with a feature cocktail showcasing the award-winning Canadian dry gin from Valley of Mother of God. Seating is limited—join us for an elegant fusion of art, fine dining, and craft cocktails, celebrating spring and the arrival of cherry blossom season!

    Gratamente Impresionada. Un sabor especial, que estoy segura, deleita a todo paladar. Desde el 1er plato hasta el final con el postre elegido fue perfecto. Las ostras muy frescas, el sushi delicioso, el wagyu espectacular! Simplemente muy bueno.

    We ordered lots of stuff, during ordering the server didn’t write down the dishes we ordered, and insisted that he can remember all. Apparently he missed many dishes. And we were waiting there for 1 hour with no more food coming. The service is slow and not friendly, also no patience. Won’t recommend!
