   I’ve been a few times and really enjoyed the vibe of Nellie’s! I think last night it was understaffed as it took a while to get our food and one member of our party’s meal never arrived. We were a big group. I’ll return but not with a big group.

   Ambiance and the smashburger are perfect, but that’s about it. The entire staff seemed to be rushing our experience — I’m in the restaurant industry and I understand if our table was needed or if we were dining near closing time but this wasn’t the case. There were plenty of empty tables and we were moving along pretty fast. Our server asked us if we were interested in dessert as I had half of my burger still in my hand… mid-bite. Several bussers approached us asking to take plates away that we were still actively eating. It was so extreme that my friend and I were convinced it was some kind of joke among the staff… it felt that ridiculous. Props to going above and beyond with decor and curb appeal, that’s what made me want to visit. But the experience was honestly pretty bad.

   We love the unique vibe of this place in Times Square. It definitely transport you back in time to an old speakeasy. The food was very good. Drinks were unique and fun. My only critique is that the service was slow and I feel the weight staff could have been more attentive.

   Fabulous. Absolutely phenomenal. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone. Only negative is, it was insanely warm in there! But overall, a great option around broadway!

    Overpriced and underwhelming. Food very average. NOLA baked oysters were way too runny. Chicken Vodka Parm was bland. French Dip was decent, but comes with nothing. Truffle Gibson martini was a bit too truffly for me. Would rather it just with the sherry and onion brine. I thought the optional blue cheese olives would come in the drink, but just got 3 sad olives on the side. Whole experience felt like a typical restaurant group touristy money grab.
