This was our first visit to Miss Toya’s restaurant. The restaurant has a great ambiance, the prices were reasonable BUT the food was phenomenal. We had the fried green tomatoes which were cooked to perfection. I got the fries catfish, golden brown on the outside and delicious on the inside. I can’t say enough about the food! We highly recommend this place.

Hospitable staff, fast table delivery, great vibe 10/10 first experience. Everything we had, Nola drop and blueberry mocktails, deviled eggs, honey bourbon wings, gumbo, lamb coops, rice and beans, 4cheese Mac, broccolini, cornbread. Spinach needed seasoning. Highly recommend Miss Toya’s.

Took my husband here for his birthday and we had a great time. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the best lamb chops I’ve ever tasted and he had enough seafood w/linguine to last for two meals. Everything was amazing, including the service and drinks. So glad we saw this place on RHOP. Will definitely be back and have already begun recommending to friends.

I made reservations for 1:30 and by 1:45 we were seated.. our server was very attentive and was able to recommend some appetizers that WERE DELICIOUS. We did not order a main dish but I will go back to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend this spot.

What a grand time! Went with two good friends to celebrate a birthday and got fantastic service and awesome food. Started with a sign and card for the birthday lady. Then the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, calamari, wings, seafood omelet with cheese grits, Blue Moon, bellini… All top notch. Our server Natalie was bomb. Highly recommend this location!

I wanted to treat my family to a nice dinner at a Black owned restaurant for MLK Day and we found Ms. Toya’s online. We made reservations for 3pm and parked around the corner in a garage. It was a very convenient 3-5 minute walk away. The hostess greeted us and we were seated within ten minutes of our arrival. Our server, Natalie, was friendly and pretty attentive. Our party of four ordered several appetizers and all were delicious. Deviled eggs plain and with shrimp, spinach dip w/crabmeat, crab claws, and 2 orders of bayou rolls. Very tasty! Our entrees were crab cake sandwich, French toast brunch, chicken and waffles, and the bayou pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meals but I will note that the crab cake sandwich came out with the wrong toppings initially and my eggs needed to be cooked more. Not a big deal really but the sandwich took a while because it needed to be remade. Our server gave us a dessert to make up for the mix up with the sandwich, and that was appreciated. Loved the music and ambiance at the restaurant, and we will return. Overall, we really enjoyed the vibe, the meal, and the service. Value was pretty good but the appetizers were on the expensive side based on the portions we received. Entrees were appropriately priced. A 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill and it came to just under $300. We did not drink alcohol.

Excellent! One of my favorite restaurants! If you like New Orleans type food, this may be the best in the DMV! My party came for the gumbo (made with saffron in it) which wasn’t served until later. So I had to try a new dish and found out the fish and grits was also delicious. Back soon for their signature gumbo with some charbroiled oysters to start! Laissez bontemps roulez!
