Mission Ceviche was created with the purpose of connecting the diverse people of New York City through the unique lens of Peruvian cuisine. Led by Chef José Luis Chavez & Brice Mastroluca, Mission Ceviche combines traditional flavors with modern techniques and unexpected twists to create an exciting menu that is just as healthy as it is flavorful.

    The food was cold. Nobody came in to check on the table after we got the cold food. Portions are small. Extremely overpriced.

    The food was outstanding. We were on our way out from NYC and decided to try it. So glad we did. Everything was delicious. We try ceviche clasico, lomo saltado, shrimp tempura, tres leches and guanabana mouse. Everything was to well prepared and presented. The restaurant is nicely decorated as well. Very attentive service. Highly recommend.

    There were many appealing food choices and careful explanations of the dishes were explained to us. Everyone enjoyed their selection. We all ordered from the regular lunch menu. Portion sizes are ample. Tableware is attractive. We were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant provided a festive sparkler on one of the the dessert choices. The restaurant graciously gave us complimentary pisco drinks. with dessert. Other guests in the restaurant, joined in singing Happy Birthday to our friend. Afterwards two other guests , who were visiting from the Czech Republic came over to our table to wish our friend birthday joy. That indicates the friendliness of the staff and guests.

    Really great food and ambience. It’s a little too bright for those sitting next to the kitchen. A bit better to sit away from it.

    This was not our first time at Mission Ceviche, this time it was not very good. So sorry to say ! The ambiance seemed gloomy. The music was too loud. The employees were like in a hurry. The sushi was good, but the main dish was overcooked ( we ordered medium / medium rare) and a little hard to chew- we ordered the lomo salteado. The bathroom was no clean and two large insects (cockroaches) were roaming free…… Then we just had lo leave.It was one of my favorite restaurants but toninght it was not on its best night. Had to write for improvement!!!!

    Adoro questo ristorante. Il servizio è gentile, cordiale e rapido. Il cibo è spettacolare. Il pesce è buono, freschissimo, cucinato alla perfezione. Il sushi è davvero notevole. Ogni piatto, dolci inclusi, è cucinato con una maniacale attenzione al dettaglio. Questo ristorante mi piace davvero moltissimo e lo consiglio di cuore.

    The food was good, but we didn’t like one of the ceviche’s. You have to go for the red ceviche carrelliro.

    Mission Ceviche absolutely lives up to the hype! From the tangy, flavourful tiger’s milk to the perfectly cooked shrimp, every dish was an utter joy. The staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable birthday lunch, even joining in the celebration. Their wine selection was spot on, and the incredible serveware was a standout touch—truly elevating the whole experience. Highly recommended for great food, great service, and an unforgettable dining atmosphere!
