Mister A's is the penthouse, fine-dining destination of San Diego, and has been for over 50 years. Located just a few minutes from downtown, you will take the elevator to the top floor and look back out over jetliners sweeping past at eye level, the San Diego skyline, bay and Pacific, while enjoying Modern American cuisine, hand-crafted cocktails, and one of Wine Spectator's top-rated wine lists in the country. The culinary staff hand-selects local farm produce and the highest quality ingredients in every category to offer you selections that are made from scratch in house for brunch, lunch, dinner.. or simply the finest rooftop drinks and appetizers in town.

Mister A's will be offering a Jazz Brunch with New Orleans inspired cuisine along with our a la carte brunch menu. The Jazz brunch will only be featured on Saturdays and will include the option of listening to live music in the bar before being seated in the main dining room for an a la carte menu. Music will conclude at 1pm.

Ich habe das Restaurant gewählt nach einer Empfehlung für den Geburtstag von Sebastien. Es war wunderschön wir hatten einen tollen Tisch,dank meiner Nachfrage als Geburtstags Location für Sebastian. Das Ambiente war toll das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Wir haben uns sehr wohl geführt und würden das Restaurant jederzeit wieder besuchen!

Incredible! Worth every penny. Service, food, ambience is a 10/10. I’m only bummed I didn’t request outdoor seating. Next time! ;-) an absolute San Diego staple. Can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed their Saturday jazz brunch for our anniversary. The music might have been too loud to enjoy a conversation if you sat in the same room with the band but we were seated in the main dining room and the music was a pleasant volume. The food was fabulous and not exorbitantly expensive. Not cheap, but less than I expected for the atmosphere/local. The coffee was frankly the most overpriced item IMO for what was generic brewed coffee. The shrimp and grits and salmon Wellington were both delicious, we enjoyed their beignets and two of the brunch cocktails. Friendly and attentive service. Not very crowded at 10am. Would definitely do it again.

We booked Mister A's restaurant to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our overall experience was amazing. The food was awesome. The ambience was great. The service was good overall we had great time. It is certainly the top romantic place to celebrate in my opinion.

This was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. There were many other things we would have ordered. For your special occasion (this was my daughter’s birthday), this is the place! Bravo Mr A’s

This place cuts you off after many drinks. Even paying more the what an individual makes a week. Now I’m at the hotel Del having another drink.. lord this place needs help also there table cloth needs to be steamed nor pressed …..
