From the moment I was greeted with until the moment I left, I had the best meal experience I have had in my 20+ years going to Mistral. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were terrific, making it a wonderful evening out.

Mistral is an outstanding restaurant for foodies and wine lovers. The service was impeccable coupled with creative food dishes like the Halibut Paella and Gnocchi/Short Rib. The salad didn't disappoint. Moreover, the wine list representing New World and Old World selections at reasonable prices was icing on the cake. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Boston and should be on your Top 5 list.

As always the experience at Mistral is top. Food was impeccable and service is personable w class. Tina at bar made us the most exquisite dirty martini and Hector took great care of us at table after our drinks. The host team was very purposeful as well while to the point. Cheers

Rodrigo is a wonderful server--request him! He is experienced, knowledgeable & friendly; everything that he recommended was delicious. He checked on us regularly without ever rushing us. From the minute we arrived at Mistral, we felt welcomed and taken care of--from the hosts to the servers to the staff who brought us water and delivered our plates, even offering to take photos! In short, Mistral offered only the best in service, presentation & quality to make our dining experience fantastic. Recommendations: Order the Heirloom Squash Bisque or the Maine Crab Ravioli (appetizers). For entrees, the beef tenderloin with vin rouge, whipped potatoes & broccolini was to die for--perfectly prepared and (almost!) too beautiful in its presentation to eat! My Mom said that her salmon was another delicious entree, and my husband adored the flatbread beef tenderloin pizza (with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions on top--something I had never seen before!) The Creme Brule was yummy, as were the espresso martinis if you prefer a sweet drink rather than a dessert. Mistral has a very extensive wine menu (to include half bottles), and Rodrigo went above and beyond to help us to choose the perfect wines to accompany our dishes. The valet parking was extremely convenient as well, given Boston's lack of easy parking in the Back Bay. We are already really looking forward to our next visit to Mistral. It is a genuine gem all around.
