We had a gift card and decided to go eat at Mitchell's Fish Market and it did not disappoint. We had hoped to sit on the happy hour side in the bar, but it was packed. The menu had great options, and the selections sounded fantastic. We both tried the Cod Shanghai style blackened and sautéed. It was a like a symphony to our taste buds. The server was well educated about the menu and was sure to keep our drinks topped off. If you are looking for a great eating experience, you found the place. Next time we will be sure to arrive earlier for the happy hour as the selections for happy hour were the best we have seen in Michigan. Hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

Always great service. Thoughtful. Drinks were good. Food was good too. I had the house salad which is my favorite.

The food was fantastic. Great portion sizes and very tasty. We even got a dessert on the house for a Birthday. Would recommend.

This restaurant always does a great job. Valentine’s Day is always busy so the service was a bit slower than normal but still very good. Food was excellent.

The service was great, the atmosphere was nice. The food has a mixed review. The crispy spicy shrimp was pretty good. My wife had the “all-in “ crabcake & shrimp dinner which was pretty good. I had the seafood platter, which wasn’t so enjoyable. The shrimp and scallops were very rubbery, and the Salmon was only a 2-3 oz portion was extremely bland, despite the Asian sauce in the bottom of the dish. It was like they took the scraps off of another piece of steamed salmon and threw it on top of the rice in my dish. Eating this was more of a chore than something I’d ever want to experience again.
