                    Staff were very stuck up and disinterested . Asked for our table back as said they needed it but loads of empty tables. Sat at the bar for two more drinks and no one used the table

                    We had a great experience for our anniversary yesterday. We had the premium bottomless brunch. The food was amazing and we had so much of it. The drinks were great and came so quickly. The service was super slick and really friendly. And they were playing great music and people were up and dancing. It was the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to in Manchester and definitely worth paying a little bit extra for!

                    A must-try!! Mnky Hse is a great spot for a night out. The food is creative and full of bold flavors, and every dish looks as good as it tastes. The space is stylish and cozy, with a fun and energetic vibe. The staff are very friendly and make sure you’re well looked after. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy great food and a lively atmosphere all in one. Perfect for special occasions.

                    Unfortunately we would not return. One positive was that front of house were very welcoming, taking coats etc. My husband has a lobster allergy so we expected some things to be unavailable to us, we ordered with guidance from the waitress. She then returns to tell us we can’t have the starter she’d previously said was ok as cooked in the same oil. So we changed again with guidance. She returned again to say that and another was also not ok for us. So we changed again to one she said was ok. One starter came and one missing, so 5 mins later she comes back to us to say she took it off the bill as also not ok for us. (We therefore shared a portion of edamame). Main came and the steak was cold so we sent it back. A new one arrived once I’d finished my main so my husband ate his main after. Very disappointing.

                    Honestly, it was such an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was absolutely delightful and made it even more memorable! I will definitely come back!!

                    Good Points - welcoming staff at the door and serving staff were excellent and very attentive. Our serving lady was lovely. Recognised a birthday with one of our party members and made us feel welcome and warm. Decor, ambiance and lighting was good too and comfortable seating and layout. Bad points - food is not great quality for what the prices are. Very overpriced for what you get. Portions are ok but the quality in taste isn't great. Presentation of food was good though. Music was maybe a bit too loud. DJ is great to have but trying to hold a conversation is hard work when you're shouting at each other. Clientele is a very very young crowd too. Did not want to pay the service charge at the end due to above number of reasons. The Manager (male manager) was extremely rude and pushy and became very disgruntled when we advised we did not want to pay it. Kept asking for reason after reason and what was wrong which was wrong of him. It is a customers prerogative if we want to pay a service charge or not and we should not be harassed for reasons in a pushy and forceful manner. He ruined the experience for us further. Overall, not somewhere I would visit again or recommend to friends and family. Very pretentious and trying to be a version of Sexy Fish but in future would rather spend my money at Sexy Fish or Kitten for better quality food at the same prices.
