We had a wonderful evening at Mochica. The Pisco sours were great, as were the ceviches. My third time dining here and everyone always loves this restaurant. Food excellent with an extensive and interesting menu, service good and pleasant ambience. Highly recommend.

This is a delightful neighborhood restaurant with fresh delicious food and a fun cocktail list. We had the basil martini and a smoky mescal drink with smoke added at our table. The boulliabaise was flavorful, as was the steak with onions and tomatoes. The yucca chips were fun and at our request (not on the menu) a lovely salad was presented with an assortment of veggies and fresh varied lettuces. Everything was well done and the service was very attentive. It is a pretty well decorated space with high ceilings so noise was at a minimum. Definitely recommend!

It’s a gem of a place. We went here for the SF Restaurant Week. The food was very delicious. Drinks were great. Service was very attentive and friendly. Definitely would come back here with friends.

Our large group (15) was beautifully taken care of with caring (and patient) service, and delicious food and drinks. One of my favorite restaurants in SF.

Had an amazing time at Mochica’s.. made even more fun by their happy hour! It was a pleasant surprise with such tasty options—we tried five out of the seven on the menu, and each was a hit. We went with main courses of Peruvian paella, pollo a la brasa, and chicharrones, and all were packed with authentic flavors. The adult beverages were on point, adding the perfect touch to the experience. Friendly staff, great vibe, and that happy hour just made it even better. Can’t wait to go back!

Went for a happy hour for a friend‘s birthday. The food was delicious. Drinks were quite tasty. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We even got serenaded for her birthday. It was quite a special experience. Great neighborhood restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Break out of your brunch rut and check out Mochica! It was a refreshing change of pace and in a happening part of the city, plenty to walk around and browse afterwards. Nice quiet weekend spot the day we went. I'd love to come back for dinner sometime -- next trip!
