We have dined at Modern several times, introducing new friends to this very nice place to dine. They have all returned, so that says something. Cat and Randy, their son & daughter in law, and Steve make up the family. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive. Each time, our selections were delicious, served hot when appropriate, and the portions are ample. Desserts!!! Oh my, they are a must try. Modern is our most favorite restaurant for lunch. Music is pleasant - and not blasting, thumping loud. The atmosphere is subdued and relaxing. We highly recommend Modern for either lunch or dinner.

Great server Food was pretty good, especially oysters, but steak wasn’t excellent - I’ve had better at a chain steakhouse VERY high price Unexpected 3% up charge for using a credit card!! Who pays cash at an upscale restaurant for a $300 meal!!

If you love lobster bisque, and chowder, you’ll go cuckoo for Cocopuffs over their lobster/corn chowder. Its delicious, slightly smokey flavor is punctuated by big chunks of lobster meat, along with corn, small chunks of potato and other veggies. Creamy, hot and mouth-watering, it is impossible to stop eating. But take a moment between spoonfuls just to savor every slurp! The lobster Louie salad was no slouch, either! What are you waiting for?! Book now!

Beautiful locally owned restaurant. Everything was just perfect. Lovely atmosphere,amazing service, and the food was delicious! Steak was melt in your mouth, oysters were so fresh, cocktails were superb! Highly recommend

We celebrated our New Year’s Eve dinner here, the service was top notch and the food was delicious. The whiskey and wine lists were more than I expected. We sat on the patio as we had perfect weather. Can’t say enough how good the service was. We will be back for sure.

Didn’t love the quality or price. Came for happy hour and they said it wasn’t happening anymore with no notification on the website

Food was good but a little short of other high end Steakhouses. Service meant well but again needs a little more polish. Value in line with competitive set.
