Our restaurant is located on the famous Porticus Minucia, a quadrangular structure that enclosed the four temples of the sacred area of Largo Argentina. Here, once upon a time, the Roman people gathered to collect the grain given by the state. A real leap into the past, an immersion in the history of Rome, a diamond that you can visit and admire coming to the Modius Restaurant. After the visit there is no better cuddle than a hot, succulent and greedy meal prepared by our Chef Simone Frezzotti, young and talented artist of local and contemporary cuisine.
And if our delicate and modern restaurant is not enough for you, run to the terrace!! From here you can admire Rome from above, dominate it with the eyes of those who are really observing one of the wonders of our planet... sipping a cool and refreshing cocktail of the house.

                                          We had the best experience here! It was Christmas Day and I made the reservation as online it did not have a set menu, and this was something I didn’t want and most restaurants had. However, when we got there, it actually was a preset menu and I was unaware of this. I have many food restrictions and could not eat anything that they had. However, our waiter Luca, was so kind and he offered to make me their best pasta they had and I agreed. Meanwhile, he suggested we order the burrata, which we did and it was honestly the best cheese I’ve ever had, super creamy. The bread was also excellent that was given to us. Luca also gave us some sparkling wine as a Christmas gift which was was very good as well. The pasta I had was indeed the best meal! So delicious and the sauce was great. My family didn’t enjoy their meals as much, but still said it was good - three ordered the ravioli and one had the cod fish. Then, to make our evening even better, as another gift, we got cups of vin brûlée which was amazing. Luca was the best waiter, so attentive and accommodating and made our night so much better. I would definitely come back here!

                                          We booked this place because we wanted nice food on Christmas Day with a view. The pictures on the site are of the rooftop BAR which was not open, nor where the restaurant is. This was unexpected and disappointing. We had a lovely meal. Nice food, good service. You can get something similar for a lot cheaper elsewhere, and the place was dead.

                                          The best service I’ve experienced. They were kind, knowledgeable, and even helped my wife with her allergies and also praised her for the effort in trying to speak Italian. The food was delicious, the portions were just the right size, and the drinks refreshing. This was a memorable experience for my wife and I. Paired with the amazing staff along with an entrancing view of Rome it made us fall in love with this beautiful city. When we return this will be on top of our list to come and enjoy the wonders of Rome and her very delightful people.

                                          We had a beautiful, leisurely Sunday brunch in a charming window seat. Our server was attentive and friendly. The brunch was an unlimited offer from a beautiful menu with free flow Prosecco. It was the perfect start to our week in Rome.

                                          Food was exquisite, service was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Hotel Manager greeted us, servers were super professional and attentive, cherry on top, I had the chance to speak with the chef about his dishes, almost made him cry when I mentioned to him that one of his dishes was my 'ratatouille' moment since it remembered me about my mom's cuisine when I was little. Definitely would go back.

                                          Seconda volta in questo posto così rilassante. Un aperitivo da lasciare a bocca aperta, non solo per la bontà dei piatti e la freschezza dei drink, ma anche per lo splendore della vista che si vive. Il ristorante invece è un immersone nella pace, con il personale che ti coccola e fa star bene. Andate e provate.
