Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman is a place where foodies, beer lovers, and families escape the stresses of their day to day lives by enjoying an ice cold beer and a great meal while surrounded by people who consider them honored guests and friends.

Our restaurants are founded upon a passion for craft and we are dedicated to mastering the craft of food, drink, and merrymaking…with Aloha! Our menu features fresh island fish, hand tossed pizzas from our kiawe wood burning oven, and homemade pies made from scratch.

Thirty-six craft beers served at twenty-nine degrees are on tap, representing the coldest beer and best selection of microbrews on the island. Our culinary cocktails feature unique ingredients such as acai spirit, coconut water, and Kula lavender. Our passion for craft also extends to our diverse wine list, which emphasizes sustainability, drinkability and fun.

    Thank you for your interest in hosting your large party/event at Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman in Ko Olina! We ask that you complete our Group Reservation Request form, which is available in the Group Menu section of our website. Once we receive your form our event coordinator will be in touch with you shortly. We are able to accommodate parties in our indoor dining area and upstairs open air dining area. We can also accommodate large parties interested in buying out the entire restaurant.

    Very disappointed. We love love love the beach house on Kauai! I’ll keep it very factual 1. Asked for a straw and never got :( not a huge deal… 2 asked for sugar for tea never got :( 3. Ordered the special but never said what kind of fish so my husband was given was seems Iike end of the night leftovers…. 4. My dish mentioned nothing about goat cheese and when it came I asked… they said oh yeah they add that,,,, so I asked them to remove it. Still tasted like goat cheese :( 5, all the staff was packing up to leave while we were eating and we were even asked what else we wanted because kitchen closed. This was 15 months ago after getting there. Why allow a reservation that late? Over all just bummed

    It was New Years Eve, so the restaurant was very busy, but it wasn’t too noisy. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. We will definitely be back!

    The manager was extremely kind to still honor a reservation on 12/31 that actually was for 1/1. The resto was fully booked that day. Thank you very much

    ハッピーアワーだったので、コストパフォーマンスははなまる。 料理はどれも美味しかったですが、中でもガーリックトリフオイルフライがとても美味しかったです。 ローストチキンウイングはちょっぴり辛く、地ビールとの相性がバツグン。

    First time visiting this MonkeyPod location. Service was excellent. The deviled eggs are our favorite appetizer. The fish and chips have some of the best tasting fresh fish and fries. The specialty drink MaiTai with the foam top is to die for. Can’t wait to dine here again. Our server Ronni was friendly and helpful.

    This restaurant had been our go to place over the past 10 years. Always great. This year we were not impressed . Food felt like the Disney alauni took over. Burgers and such. Gone were all the creative appetizers and entrees. Sorry to see a creative restaurant turn into a below average grazing spot for those who do not care what is plopped in their face. And the prices are outrageous for quality. Do yourself a favor, go to ANY burger place, it will be better. Additionally, slow service.
