Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman is a place where foodies, beer lovers, and families escape the stresses of their day to day lives by enjoying an ice cold beer and a great meal while surrounded by people who consider them honored guests and friends.

Our restaurants are founded upon a passion for craft and we are dedicated to mastering the craft of food, drink, and merrymaking…with Aloha! Our menu features fresh island fish, hand tossed pizzas from our kiawe wood burning oven, and homemade pies made from scratch.

Thirty-six craft beers served at twenty-nine degrees are on tap, representing the coldest beer and best selection of microbrews on the island. Our culinary cocktails feature unique ingredients such as acai spirit, coconut water, and Kula lavender. Our passion for craft also extends to our diverse wine list, which emphasizes sustainability, drinkability and fun.

    Thank you for your interest in hosting your large party/event at Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman in Ko Olina! We ask that you complete our Group Reservation Request form, which is available in the Group Menu section of our website. Once we receive your form our event coordinator will be in touch with you shortly. We are able to accommodate parties in our indoor dining area and upstairs open air dining area. We can also accommodate large parties interested in buying out the entire restaurant.

    Food was average. Server got most of our order wrong or gave it to the wrong person. Asked if we wanted sides without informing they were an extra charge. Offered a free desert to compensate and then brought two deserts and charged us for one. Very disorganized.

    We love this place. A must anytime we are on any Hawaiian Island. Their Mai Tais cannot be missed. Many restaurants imitate their innovative lilikoi foam that tops the drink, but nobody does it like the OG. The live musician last night was fantastic. Very family friendly and accommodating for young children.

    Overall, pretty good, but it’s fairly noisy and the music was not great — a couple of guys with computer generated music — 3 cords, one beat, and a voice with no range at all. Food was good, sever was very good.

    My brother loves the Mai Tai’s here so when he comes to visit which is normally around the holidays we make it mandatory to have at least one meal here so he can get his Mai Tai fix. The service and food is always top tier! We have never ordered anything we didn’t enjoy and the staff has always been excellent! Always a great experience for our family <3

    As always such an amazing experience and such delicious food and beverages. Loved the live music last night as well. Can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday.

    Amazing food!! Some of the best dishes on the island. Server Taylor took amazing care of our table and had great recommendations for the menu. Will be going back soon!

    It’s been a while since I went to Monkeypod and normally the food is excellent. The truffle fries were burned and soggy. The taro ravioli was awful. Best thing was the romaine Caesar which was lettuce and dressing. The only thing we enjoyed was the strawberries and cream pie! Jenn was a great server too! Don’t get the gnocchi… it’s undercooked and bland.

    We made a reservation ahead of time, and we were seated pretty promptly. Our waiter was very attentive. All food is made in house and was very good. Our drinks were also delicious. Note: Hawaii is strict about carding anyone who looks young.

    Food and service was great. Our only issue was sitting outside. Flies and fire ants everywhere. Ourselves and the neighboring table were eaten alive so much that all of us had to move inside. I even got bit by a fire ant. The sting wouldn’t let up for over an houR. Would definitely recommend just ask for an side table
