While atmosphere and excellent service are a great start to an evening, it's the culinary detail that completes your outing to the Cliffs. Our Chef, Jason Reiner, and his team are dedicated to the local food movement and create menus by season and availability of local products. He is proud to serve up only the freshest made from scratch items on the ever-changing chalkboard menu. He relies on local farmers and producers to provide the best local ingredients available by season.

We feature local beers on draught, locally roasted coffee and support local artisans whenever possible.

Good food, friendly service. All brought out in a timely manner. Ambience was great, and noise wasn't bad. Very easy to maintain a conversation in a normal to even a softer voice.

Our whole experience was terrific! We have been there many times before, and it's my understanding that there has been new ownership some time ago. We were a little concerned as the previous owners set the bar high! We were not disappointed! Quite the opposite. Food was delicious and fast. Our server was cheery, accommodating and went over and above. The ambience was warm and cosy. Popped into Peter's Cellar and received a great reception there as well. Didn't stay for a beverage as we had a little one with us. Such a dynamic place with the main dining area, separate private room, cool pub/wine cellar and patio in the warmer months. Lots of nature and hiking around as well. This has been one of our favourite places to eat for many, many years and will continue to be. We are fortunate to have this restaurant in our neck of the woods.

The back room is a nice experience and the food is very tasty. There is a strong smell that may be mold brewing in the corner that needs attention. Server was attentive and well-mannered. The pub and toy train thingy is super cool.

Couldn't be better - food, service and atmosphere. Went for a date lunch. Yummy Cobb Salad, Burger and Soup. Craft beers. Go.

We had a wonderful dinner with our family. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint. The menu is versatile with different selection for everyone, beef, pork, chicken. Different salads, soup of the day. Children's menu. Excellent food. Prices are reasonable. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Love the entire atmosphere, and the pub downstairs was so fun for an after dinner drink! Service was speedy and professional. Was a little disappointed as they ask if it’s a special occasion when you make a reservation and it was, but it wasn’t acknowledged when we were there. Not really a big deal, but maybe don’t ask for that information if you’re not going to do anything with it. Otherwise appetizers and entrees were really good as well as the drink selection to go with it. Just didn’t love the panna cotta for dessert, it was weirdly watery tasting. Will definitely go back again though as the overall experience and ambiance was really great!
