Food was great, quiet outside seating but warmed by heaters, unobtrusive and prompt service. Overall a five star experience on a holiday at a busy restaurant

We had 3 different waiters, the 1st was good then passed us off to another who never asked to take our order. Finally the 1st waiter came and took our order. Another person brought our order then another person brought our check. We sat for 20 minutes before we had to ask for someone to take the check. After 2 hours finally found someone to help and discounted the drinks and gave us a gift card which makes up for the service we received. Food was excellent!

Starks did a very nice job with the remodel. In the summer this is going to be terrific, with all of the outdoor space. Food was great, as expected. Issues with the service from the beginning. No hostess to seat many of us in line and with reservations. Waiters seem to need additional training. Somehow, some of our order did not get to the chef. Overall a homerun as they will eventually work out the service issues.

The bar tender was not good at all. We were just there a week ago and had excellent drinks ! Not nearly as good today . The waitress was not friendly and seemed overworked. The bus people were very good and friendly. The lemon pasta was ok not nearly as good as the other two pastas we had in the past . Appetizers were very good , lamb ribs and burrata.

We both ordered the flat iron steak. They both came out totally cool to the touch. I hate sending food back but, they were really cold. The waitress (Erin) was very accommodating and took them back. We were given new ones that were very rare (we ordered medium rare), and tough as shoe leather. I ate one slice of it and when I realized I’d be there for a while just trying to chew it up, I ask for a box and fed it to my dogs when we got home. Also, we wanted a decaf espresso but were told that the decaf side of the machine was broken. Ok, then we’ll just have regular decaf coffee. They didn’t have that either. Overall, we were disappointed. We talked about it this morning and decided that we won’t return.

The staff was very kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. We sat outside, as we prefer, and there were heaters to keep us warm. It felt like we were on a vacation. I highly recommend Monti’s.

We had a wonderful late lunch at Monti’s today. This was my first time back since the “reimagining” and I loved it! I had the Monti’s Cristo sandwich, which was fantastic. My friend had the sirloin burger and loved it. While both sandwiches were a generous size, they did not come with sides, so if you want fries, they’re extra. All the servers and staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable with a nice, upgraded style.. All in all it was terrific and I will definitely go back soon. Thanks, Monti’s!
