Enjoy a special tour of Vietnam guided by Chef Kevin and his team in celebration of The Year of the Snake! The multi-course menu has a focus on seasonal ingredients and creative dishes. Diners can expect a culinary journey that is both familiar and innovative. Our menu is offered at $85 per person. At the moment we are unable to accommodate soy, allium and nightshade allergies, please email info@dokidokihospitality.com before booking to confirm. A 20% service fee will be added to your bill, of which 100% is distributed to front of house non-management employees in the form of wages and benefits. Tips are distributed amongst all hourly employees who work throughout the day to create your dining experience.

We tried Moon Rabbit for lunch (not easy to get a dinner reservation) and it was a perfect experience. The decor is simple, beautiful, spacious, and welcoming. The servers were gracious & helpful but not intrusive. Flatware and plates were changed frequently like they are in a Michelin-star restaurant. The food was SO creative, not overly salty nor smothered with garlic. Portions were just right for sampling multiple offerings and sharing between 2 people. We had the Chinese broccoli & the squash salad, the stuffed leaves, the mussels, the catfish & the fried chicken. All superb. We had room for dessert and actually ended up trying all 3 offerings. I cannot choose a favorite! None was too rich or too much. We also enjoyed their wine selection which matched very well with the Vietnamese cuisine.

Moon Rabbit was truly outstanding. Interesting dishes with amazing flavors, exceptional cocktails, friendly and professional staff. It isn’t cheap, and it shouldn’t be - it’s a unique and elevated experience, worth the cost! I can’t wait to go back!

We went there on New Year's Eve for a late dinner. The place was very crowded, but we had a reservation for 930 PM. It took them 20 mins to get us seated. We recognized that the restaurant was very busy, but we didn't appreciate the way guests were being seated out of sequence rather than managing guests by their reservation time. For a James Beard recognized establishment, I was expecting a better reception service, We weren't impressed by the quality of food either. There was a three course pre-fixe menu for New Year's Eve. The options were somewhat limited; it sounded great on the menu, but we were disappointed by the quality. Food was salty and the entree came lukewarm. I'm not sure if the New Year Eve's business got the best of this establishment, but I was expecting a lot more quality and better service based on all the rave reviews and a James Beard finalist.

One of the top 3 meals we’ve had in DC over past 30 years. Definitely a place for special occasion - the $85 tasting menu is outstanding and good value. Only the delicious and interesting cocktails pushed our bill up into a top tier in cost. Great service and I appreciated that it was quiet enough to have normal conversation.
