Cancellation Policy: We ask that if you need to cancel your reservation, do so 24 hours in advance. Guests cancelling within 24 hrs of their reservation will be charged $50 per person.

Mooncusser serves a $120 multicourse menu from head chef Carl Dooley. Since opening in 2017, the restaurant has been awarded top honors by the New York Times, Boston Magazine and other publications.

    Park at the 10 St. James Garage across the street from Mooncusser. Enter on either Stuart St. or St. James between Arlington and Berkeley. We are directly across from the parking atrium exit. Parking fee is $9 for up to 2 hours and $11 for up to 3 hours. Please ask your server or the host to stamp your ticket.

      Food is average at best, service is good depending on who you get but not very attentive. Atmosphere is basic.

      We used to love this place. When they opened a few years ago, we thought it could even be a star worthy place. It was creative and tasty. Went there 2-3 times a year. Creative is still is. Unfortunately, sometimes overly so. Of course it could be our taste pallets and high expectations. Some dishes made us want to say - please stop trying so hard. Just make it taste great like you used to. Sometimes it's too many ingredients, sometimes ingredients simply don't go well together(subjective of course). So A for creativity, at best B- for Service is great.

      Excellent food and ambience. We split everything on the tasting menu and were blown away by the flavor.

      The staff very graciously accommodated our time constraints (had a show at 7:30) and dietary restrictions (which we sprung on them after sitting down). The food is always delicious, inventive, and high quality.

      Incredible experience. The wine pairing is thoughtfully done and well worth it. One of our favorite restaurants in the U.S.
