   Moonraker is an absolute gem! The service is attentive without being intrusive, striking that perfect balance that elevates the experience. The atmosphere is exactly where you want to be ... chic, inviting, and effortlessly cool. And the food? Memorable. Highly recommend!

   We made a reservation for 7pm on a Sunday evening as guests of the hotel. We were greeted with long lines at the hostess stand and people cutting the lines to take tables reserved for other people. Our table outside was taken by walk ins who had not made reservations but the wait staff chose to let them take the tables anyway. We were eventually seated at a table inside after a 10 minute wait. The one bright spot of the evening was the one hostess who eventually found us a table outside and graciously let us move to that table. She also continued to check on us throughout the evening. It took our waiter 10 minutes to take our drink order, 20 minutes to take our food order, and 50 minutes to get our first drink. This is after we were told that one drink was unavailable, yet we watched the table next to us order said drink and have it delivered. We were also told that they were out of a few of their specials, but we saw tables near us order them ( after we had been told they were out) and then get served those dishes. The food that we were able to order was excellent, except for the cheesecake which was severely over cooked for a Japanese style souffle cheesecake ( no cloudlike texture, just dry and mealy, and the reduction was either so faint as to be undetectable, or they forgot to add it). Our waiter forgot to fill our water so we eventually had to ask another waiter for two water glasses so we would at least have water while we waited. Overall dinner took over two hours and most of it we spent waiting on our waiter.

   My husband and I dined at Moonraker for dinner and Sunday brunch during our one night stay at the hotel. It’s a beautiful open air rooftop. But the service was quite poor. We had issues with food we ordered not coming out. Our first waiter was inattentive. The second waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu. We waited 20 minutes for our first drink because no one knew whether I was allowed to have bottomless mimosas if the whole table didn’t order it. Had to wait 20 minutes for them to ask the manager. We noticed other tables around us having similar complaints and saw several groups get up after not getting service. Cocktails were sub par. And I found it funny that they serve the fancy veuve mimosas with bottled juice. That said, the food was delicious. The wall street roll is one of my favorite sushi rolls I’ve ever had. The edamame, crispy rice spicy tuna & crispy rice spicy salmon were all decadent. I hope they can figure out the service issues. Honestly just seems like a training issue. The staff was mostly confused
