A modern American restaurant that's dedicated to source consciousness, Morel's menu finds inspiration from Chef Jonathan Manyo’s roots: Wisconsin. Morel explores natural flavors, colors, and textures from local farms, purveyors, foragers, and artisans. For eight years, Jonathan has remained dedicated to featuring a menu comprised of nearly 100% Wisconsin-sourced ingredients.

    Wonderful meal with a great server. He was engaging and attentive. I appreciate that he was around with out being intrusive to the conversation. We enjoyed specialty cocktails and split 3 appetizers (mushroom and polenta, cheese board, beet and goat cheese salad). The rainbow trout was presented beautifully. The ribeye special was large enough to be split. The short rib was tender and flavorful. We were lucky with the last available chocolate cake with espresso ice cream. Highly recommend Morel!

    Still a great spot! It was our first time back in 7 years but as good as we remembered it. The drinks are small but strong. The food is still incredible. If you don't order something with mushrooms in it you are doing yourself a disservice! As we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary the maître D made sure we got the best table in the place and they brought us free champagne after our meal, a very nice touch! It's only a 50 topper so make your reservations well ahead of time. A must visit in downtown Milwaukee!

    This is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. The lamb carpaccio and mushroom fricasse are to die for, but you can’t go wrong with anything. Their craft cocktails are above and beyond too!

    As always, Morel does not disappoint. The knowledge of the menu by the staff is best in class. Overall service and quality of food excels.

    Food was great, good bourbon list. The server could have been more friendly. Didn't appreciate her trying to push us for entree orders 8 minutes after seating.

    Morel is my favorite restaurant; the ambiance is lovely, the waitstaff are the right amount of attentive wherein they check-in without interrupting guest conversation, and the food is always outstanding. I'm partial to their lamb papardelle entree.
