Morimoto Asia is Chef Masaharu Morimoto first pan-Asian restaurant. The creativity of Chef Morimoto is already one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine. This culinary destination includes unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. The second-level sushi bar and lounge have a separate entrance.

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing at Disney Springs, an entertainment-dining-retail district. With an overhaul and re-branding of this portion of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs will present a fresh and new face to the magical kingdom that is sure to be an extraordinary experience.

I went with another adult and young child. We ordered 2 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls, and the duck. Everything was absolutely amazing and cooked/prepared to perfection. I highly recommend the duck! The California roll was made with real crab meat, which is always a game changer. We were all full and took left overs home. I cannot wait to return and try other dishes! The atmosphere and customer service were excellent!

From start to finish it was Amazing. Drinks at the bar were not only pretty but tasty! Dinner was delicious and the service was great!!!!!

We love this restaurant so much that we go about every 8 weeks, but was a bit disappointed tonight. This is the restaurant out of all of the Orlando area that my son wanted to go to for his 17th birthday. We ordered a few sushi rolls, but our tuna was missing the spicy mayo. We waited, but it took time for our server, so we gave up and just ate it. When our entrees finally arrived, we had to wait 9 minutes for our server to bring us silverware, but he only brought us forks, and no knives. We needed knives to cut with. So he went back for a few knives and brought them to our table. We did ask for a dessert menu, and he brought that out and a Birthday treat, then we ordered a dessert. When the dessert came out, he only brought 3 spoons out and asked us who wanted to reuse the other spoon from the birthday treat. I personally think he should have brought out 4 spoons. Unfortunately, this is the second time in the row that we’ve only had mediocre experience. The last time the service was slow, which was fine, but when we went to pay we told him and showed him our DVC card. He then brought us our check, but it didn’t reflect the discount. When I asked him about it, he said it’s on the other check, but he just didn’t bring it. But that he assured us it was taken care of, so I gave him my credit card. After he rang the card up, the discount was not on there. When I said something he said oh I’m so sorry about that but you can use your discount next time you come back. And he explained how he could not fix it.

QUICK REVIEW: A great experience. Great service, Cuisine always great. Solid 4.8 Stars. Highly Recommend. Yes, we will be back. LONGER REVIEW: We travel extensively, and have been to Morimoto in Vegas, so decided to give Disney location a try. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a booth by request. Great see and be seen booth. Janine - our main server - was Awesome. She was there when you needed her, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Had Lychee Martini, Yuzu Margarita, Matcha Raku, and a Red Blend for drinks. A-5 Wagyu and Chicken Lemongrass dumplings for appetizers. All very yummy. Table shared Fried Rice Morimoto, Mongolian Filet and Morimoto Spare Ribs. All perfectly cooked, and nothing left on the plate. Very tasty. A couple of desserts to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Morimoto continues to impress. Highly recommend. Only downside was a loud child in the table behind us - but hey - this is Disney. YES, we would go back.

Quiana was AMAZING! Her service was 5 star and she was so knowledgeable about the food and had a great sense of humor! The food was out of the world! Spare ribs, Buri Bop and Pork Egg rolls are the best!

I went there for a birthday friend lunch date. Our waitress "Michelle" was not attentive to us at the table. When asked for recommendations she didnt really present good options or recommendations. She seemed to be overwhelmed with the number of tables she was handling at lunchtime. We had to tell her we were ready to order as she passed by. The drinks we ordered came and one was full and one was 3/4 full but same size glass. When asked the manager Brandon he said "oh it does look a little shorter than normal." He said that he was going to talk to the bartender but never came back. When we asked "Michelle" which she was very rude to correct us that her name was Marie or Maria and that she was wearing the wrong name tag. She went to check about the drink and came back to tell me that the bar does not have enough to make another drink, which makes sense why my glass was only 3/4 full. The ramen was very bland with no flavor. The popcorn shrimp was great. That was the highlight of the lunch. My overall experience was not was should have been from a celebrity chef's restaurant especially at Disney Springs. I am not sure if I would come back again or recommend.
