Very welcoming staff, beautiful wood-panelled surroundings, gentle background music, superb food (tasting menu) and excellent paired wines. Look forward to a future visit!

My wife celebrated her 65th Birthday We had an exceptional meal and the whole experience was amazing Can’t thank the girls who looked after us enough Can’t wait to return

We had the taster menu on New Years Eve, and each course was delicious. We started with chef snacks (which were like tiny pies), followed by scallops, duck, sea trout, beef, cheese (for which a supplement was payable), and 2 desserts. We were also given breads and 3 types of butter. We really enjoyed everything, including the bottle of red wine (Passimiento). This was a one off treat for us. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and would visit again.

The venue is pleasant, peaceful, and comfortable, the food was outstanding, so much so, that I have booked a return in January, to repeat the process, The cod dish was absolutely amazing and delicious., it’s my kind of restaurant.,

The tasting menu and wine was brilliant especially as 2 we’re vegetarian and couldn’t believe how wonderful it was. It was the best vegetarian selection they have had. Many thanks to Wayne and staff for Marin our experience wonderful.

A very enjoyable birthday meal. Lovely food and excellent service. The wine paring was very generous and therefore very good value. Whether you are local or passing through you should come here when you have something to celebrate for a special treat.
