    The food and service was fantastic. This is the best steakhouse in San Diego hands down! From the server Corey, to the manager Josh, we felt valued and the quality was excellent!!

    Ash Wednesday 2025, no steak today but we had the bacon wrapped scallops, onion rings, the wedge salad, lobster, the branzino and the lobster raviolis, truffled cream corn, truffle fries and to finish of the meal we ordered the lava cake, Korey was very attentive and professional, overall great night.

    Was extremely busy and they seem like they’re short staffed. Took a while for our waiter to originally help us then ordering took a while as well. They brought me the wrong drink and the food seemed like it was barely seasoned. Definitely going to other steakhouses for the price of what we paid.

    It is dumbfounding that a steakhouse cannot get the temperature correct. 2 steaks had to be returned because they were overcooked. The quality and cut of one of the NY strips was like having a sirloin. Complete dissapointment! Server was great!

    This visit was for my 65th birthday. We always choose Morton’s Steakhouse for Holidays and every special occasion. We had a great dinner, the food was excellent and, as usual, Morton’s surpassed our expectations. Brian was a top notch Server with a great sense of humor. We highly recommend Morton’s Steakhouse in the Gaslamp District.
