We ordered the big Porterhouse to share. It was flavorful and cooked medium, as ordered. The sides spinach and mushroom and mashed potatoes were disappointing. Both were bland. The bread pudding was excellent though. I found the dining area very dark - I could not see what I was eating. Which was why I asked our hostess earlier before sitting if we could move to a different table. She said all tables were taken. I have never met a server who was so aggressive in recommendations. He almost seemed like a salesman pushing to sell. We initially declined dessert but came back again asking about desserts. We relented and ordered dessert but what was really annoying was when he was back saying, I have coffee for you. It was not a question but a statement. I firmly declined. When our bill came - we were billed coffee. I thought we were done with the aggressive selling - he was now asking if I would be interested in a membership thing that would give me discount when I come back. My son finally spoke on behalf of me. He said we are not interested and take out the coffee on our bill. It was our first time at Morton’s, we are repeat customers at Mastros - excellent food, service and dining ambiance. We know where to go back.

We came here for a birthday celebration and it was a GREAT CHOICE!!! Food was great and prices were very reasonable.

Food and service were terrific. Salad was great and dressed lightly as we requested. Noise level such that we were able to carry on a conversation comfortably. I would have given 5 stars across the board, but our delicious rib steak which was ordered medium rare came raw in the middle. They took it back and recooked to perfection, but that should not have occurred at a fine restaurant like Arnie Mortons. We will go back since everything else was perfect.
