It’s tucked away in the back street of Saltcoats in Ayrshire and it doesn’t look much from the outside...inside was clean and there was a large menu...food was lovely. We had a Nepalese starter and a traditional lamb & potatoand a chicken with ginger curry for main with rice and a huge garlic naan bread. Service was good and friendly. Would recommend if you are in the area.

We have been many times to Motherland Spice and haven't been disappointed once . The food is exceptional and the service second to none .On this occasion it was my grandson's 14th birthday and at the end of the night he was presented with birthday cake and candle !! The lights went out and the proprioters sang happy birthday along with background music !! It made our night and can't wait for a return visit ✔️

Excellent food . Busy restaurant. Only remark - I asked to take my leftovers home but the waitress had discarded the food rather than put in container. Overall excellent x

a weekend on the west coast of Scotland and we wanted somewhere to eat. look up this place, it is well worth a visit. food was great, people were enthusiastic and we had a great evening.

A great find on an unexpected trip away - the menu is extensive - spoilt for choice! I would return if only I lived closer.
