Moxie's restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxie's has over 50 locations across Canada and 6 US locations in Dallas, Houston, and Miami.

Moxie's is located at Georgian Mall, just minutes up Bayfield Street from Hwy 400. This is my girlfriends and mine favourite spot in Barrie, we like it because it seems almost like a hidden gem, it’s always packed so it’s clearly not hidden, but we love the patio in the summer. We always have a great experience. Very sad to hear this location is closing temporarily, and we will have to find a new location for the summer. We find also the park place vibes to be too noisy with the amount of traffic from the highway right beside, we try to avoid restaurants in this area. Fingers crossed that you can replicate the same atmosphere in the south end, you will be missed in the North end. Thank you for many great memories. Only complaint from our last visit, my girlfriend got the vegan tacos with tortilla chips and there was only 6-7 chips on the plate. Usually there is 2-2.5 times as many.

We had a great valentine's dinner at Moxie's. We did not opt to do the pre-selected meal they had available, but ordered off the menu. I got the Mahi Mahi Tuna- which was exceptional. I was surprised at the flavor combination with the fish & the chorizo. It was fresh & comforting all in one. My husband got the tenderloin- it was pretty overdone to what he requested, but it was still tasty. Service was ok, nothing to brag about, but overall an ok night of dining. We would go back!
