Moxies restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxies has over 50 locations across Canada and 6 US locations in Dallas, Houston and Miami. We are excited for you to experience everything Moxies has to offer!

Moxies St. John’s is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown, a short 10-minute drive from the St. John’s International Airport, and near the Memorial University and Health Sciences Centre. Our menu is developed by Executive Chef, Brandon Thordarson and has dishes for brunch, lunch, and dinner! Come in for a perfectly grilled Sirloin Steak; a warm, comforting bowl of Herb Alfredo; or the Chipotle Mango Chicken, bursting with flavor. So whether you’re staying on-site at the Sandman Signature St. John’s or shopping at Avalon Mall or the big box stores on Kelsey Drive, pop-in and join us – we’re just around the corner!

    The experience was overall positive but we sat at the table far too long without even being offered water or anyone tending our table. A pet peeve of mine. The food was prepared properly (steak doneness) and tasted excellent and service was fine once it started.

    Fantastic service and friendly staff but I was disappointed with their menu. You will want to view their menu online before going if you’re someone who has a limited range of food preferences. I’m glad I tried Moxie’s but doubtful I’d return.

    The place was almost empty, we went for our anniversary . We had been to this location once before, and been to Dartmouth location more than 15 times and had always been impressed . There were a lot of things on the menu not available. 7oz streaks being one of those, that’s 1/2 the steak menu. The dishes we did order were very tasty, ordered the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert, it was dry and not much flavour. For what we had, I didn’t feel it was a good value for the money. We were very disappointed.

    Our appetizers were cold. We sent them Back and they came back hot. Our main meals were also cold. We just ate it. Won’t be back anytime soon.

    Great experience! Favourite place for our quarterly catch up! The only criticism, the coffee was served lukewarm once again, which was disappointing. Other than that all was great!
