Mozambique brings a taste of Southern Africa’s coastal cuisine to Laguna Beach. Enjoy wood-fired steaks fresh seafood, and chicken with ocean views and Live Entertainment!

PLEASE NOTE: SEATING AREA IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY
Reservations will guarantee a table in our restaurant, but NO SPECIFIC AREA will be guaranteed with a reservation. Please expect an additional wait for Rooftop Seating, Live Music, and other high demand areas. To book a Private Event or guarantee a specific table, a deposit will be required in addition to a food and beverage minimum, please contact our events coordinator at 949.715.7107 for pricing.

Complimentary Transportation available! 5pm and later, within Laguna Beach or a 5-10 mile radius depending on group size). For customers w/ dinner reservations only - call to schedule.

    Our server Jorge was so amazing and very attentive. He also gave us recommendations of local places in the area to also check after our dinner.

    Always a great experience in a unique vibe. We stay for the music and dancing. Reggae night. Great food. It’s a must in Laguna Beach

    Almost forced to sit outside. Cold outside. Not enough heaters. We were seated in a corner area. An area that was not near main area. Got seated right away. Was 30+ minutes before we were offers drinks even after complaining to hostess twice. Never knew who our waitress or waiter was. After complaints, it looked like we were being helped by someone at the bar. When we were finished, it was another long wait to get a check. We were in an area where no one could see us or notice we were even there. As expected, food was cold when we got served. I go to many restaurants, and this one just didn't measure up. Very disappointed.

    Dining downstairs at Mozambique meant missing out on the full visual experience, but the food was exceptional. To maximize enjoyment, exploring all 3 floors is a must. They even welcomed our two small dogs, enhancing our experience. 4/5 stars for great food and pet-friendly hospitality, despite the limited view.

    Always wonderful! Delicious food, apps and cocktails! Rooftop view is gorgeous and love the parrots and nancy the Tuscan as you walk in… a very special place.
