Mr. B’s - A Bartolotta Steakhouse - Mequon features a wide variety of steaks cooked to perfection in a high-heat wood-burning oven, which gives the meat a caramelized, buttery crust. Mr. B’s - Mequon offers an extensive wine list and broad menu plus a lively bar.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

The food was outstanding. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sauces were great accompaniments. Service was pretty slow to start: almost a half hour between being seated until we had our drinks arrive at our table, but it improved into service. My only significant complaint is that I felt like they were cramming as many tables as physically possible into the dining room. There was hardly enough room for us to navigate around our neighboring tables, and we sat so closely between them we could very easily overhear their conversations.

Lovely ambience and steak was pretty good. I was just a little disappointed because I ordered a medium and it actually came out medium well. I also didn’t care for the sauce I was given and the menu stated that I was supposed to have my choice of sauces, but I wasn’t asked what I wanted as far as sauce goes. Additionally, the loaded baked potato was cooked a bit too long. My passion fruit mojito was delicious and a great value. Overall a good restaurant with friendly staff.

We have never had a bad experience at Mr. B’s. Our servers were amazing and the food was once again just so delicious. We were there for my Mother in law’s birthday and everyone acknowledged it. I love the attention to detail.

When we entered, we were greeted warmly by a welcoming smile from the hostess. We were seated in a booth in the bar area which we love because it's comfortable, tastefully decorated, spacious, with an attractive well-lit long bar. Servers always appear to be well-trained. We had an efficient, attentive and friendly team of Natalie and Taylor. Our dinners were well paced and delicious. We have been consistently pleased with our food and exceptional service.

Bartolotta’s are known for fine dining and always excellent. Unfortunately not this one. I asked for my filet mignon medium to medium well. It came out butterflied one side burnt and fatty the other cooked unevenly. They just plopped it on a big plate and it looked horrible. They graciously offered to make me a new one while my potatoes sat on the table and got cold. This one was well done and chewy.. so unusual for a Bartollotta’s . Service was adequate but not attentive. Never offered bread or refilled our water. It was not a pleasant dining experience that we usually receive at their restaurants

Everything was great. Specialty cocktails were a nice surprise. Appetizer and salads were excellent. Our steaks were prepared perfectly, combo scallops and crabcake were delicious. Service was very good. Low lighting made it romantic. Great place!! We live 2 1/2 hours from it, but we will definitely be back.

Emily and Robert were wonderful. The restaurant was very busy but they were still very pleasant and provided great service.

We have always look forward to visiting Mr. B's in Mequon, our favorite restaurant for a nice night out. I was The filet with mushroom sauce was very good, and my salmon was well seasoned and had a slightly crispy skin which I really enjoyed. It looked and tasted delicious. The appetizers and our meal both came quickly, and Taylor our server was friendly and checked on us often.

They seemed to be overbooked for the staff they had on hand. Service was somewhat slow. After our foor was delivered, we were missing condiments. After waiting several minutes for one of our servers to check in on the first few bites, we had to flag someone down. Our waitress never stopped to see how the meal was going until we were finished eating. I expect a higher level of service from Bartolotta's.
