   We had an amazing lunch at Mriya, starting with a deliciously rich borsch followed by a perfectly crispy and tender chicken Kiev. The service was friendly, and the flavors were spot on, making it a meal we’ll definitely return for.

   Mriya is a boutique restaurant with Ukrainian/Georgian restaurant with a small garden area, nice for the summer! The food is fresh and delicious, the brown crusty bread with whipped garlic butter, herring scattered with chives on a bed potatoes. Ox tongue was very soft with two salsas. My Ukrainian friend who is a grandmother to three, had pork shashlik accompanied by blistered small green peppers and I had potato dumplings in a rich mushroom sauce, which was delicious. The chef was very kind and described why the whipped butter was white. The waitress was very helpful. The music was great. My granny had vodka and I had sea buckthorn lemonade, which was delicious

   A refreshingly unique menu with original flavour combinations and dishes from far off lands, accompanied by an exciting menu of natural Eastern European wines (the Ukrainian sparkling rose is nicer than any pink cava or Prosecco Ive tasted - i.e not sweet!). Service was friendly attentive and genuine, in a restaurant that felt like a home.

   Second time here (came when it first opened) - and we all had a very good meal and service. The chicken pie as a starter was lovely as was my chicken Kiev and other dishes the others had. The Odessa Red had great flavour and at a good price. We all decided we would return soon. Recommend

   Mriya is the place where we celebrated our wedding, and we’ve made it a tradition to return here for our anniversaries. This was our second anniversary, and the dinner was absolutely phenomenal! We even got the same table as last year! We were greeted with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, which was the perfect start to the evening. For dinner, we ordered pickles, borscht, potato dumplings, duck cabbage rolls, and chicken Kiev. The food was outstanding! With a new chef in the kitchen, every dish was a delightful discovery for our taste buds. Thank you, Mriya, for making our celebration so special. We’ll definitely be back!

    A last minute decision meant we had a late table. But so grateful we got one and had this experience. It’s rare to eat food you have genuinely never had before. My dumplings and mushrooms in broth was an exceptional flavour unlike anything I have had before. Others enjoyed their chicken Kiev scallops, carrot and fennel salad with hazelnut cream, aubergine caviar and pork shashlik. The only thing I don’t recommend is the ox tongue, which I love cured in packets from m&s but fresh cooked, not so nice. Staff were welcoming and lovely. But don’t go without trying all the desserts .. because the cottage cheese pancakes will live in my memory forever… mini hot cheesecake with berries and sour cream. We will return. A great find
