Mriya (which means Dream in Ukrainian) brings Ukrainian cuisine to London with a modern twist.

The restaurant features distinctive, chef-inspired dishes that draw from both contemporary life and Ukraine's rich gastronomic heritage. A last minute decision meant we had a late table. But so grateful we got one and had this experience. It’s rare to eat food you have genuinely never had before. My dumplings and mushrooms in broth was an exceptional flavour unlike anything I have had before. Others enjoyed their chicken Kiev scallops, carrot and fennel salad with hazelnut cream, aubergine caviar and pork shashlik. The only thing I don’t recommend is the ox tongue, which I love cured in packets from m&s but fresh cooked, not so nice. Staff were welcoming and lovely. But don’t go without trying all the desserts .. because the cottage cheese pancakes will live in my memory forever… mini hot cheesecake with berries and sour cream. We will return. A great find

Delicious food and excellent service, I was absolutely delighted. The borscht was one of the most succulent dishes I have ever tasted. We felt like at home in the restaurant.

I had an amazing experience at Mriya! The food was absolutely delicious, from the starters to the desserts—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The drinks menu was equally impressive, with creative cocktails and a great selection of wines. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. On top of all that, the music created the perfect atmosphere, enhancing the whole experience without being overpowering. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

We loved this place before,always making booking through CODE app,this time they were not really busy,but didn’t offer us nice table downstairs, wanted us to share table with other guests. We ask for table, no one explained the menu, and concept. No water was asked, no drinks to start with. Food.. not seasoned well, presentation poor, the wine list..price confused with price per bottle and price to buy. 6 months ago was much better place.

We loved the Ukrainian food which was tasty and lovingly prepared. I am vegetarian and really enjoyed the Borsch and varenky- I just would ha e liked the option of green veg to go with my meal (there weren't really full main meals for veggies). My partner loved the Kyv. And the Ukrainian flavoured vodkas - we had a horseradish and q sour cherry - were highlight. Gorgeous Kyv cake too. It is a lovely cosy place with good service- all food v. Tasty and freshly made.
