Rising star Executive Chef Colin Sato has redefined the Mugen dinner experience with his new five-course menu, designed in collaboration with Pastry Chef Jamon Harper and in consultation with renowned Chef Alan Wong. Featuring seasonal and local ingredients, diners can choose from myriad options within each course while sipping inventive cocktails or exploring wine from Mugen’s extensive collection, honored with the Wine Spectator "Best Of" Award.

If the valet turn in is not immediately available, you may turn left on Liliuokalani Avenue at McDonalds, then a quick left into the Waikiki Beach Tower valet parking. Let them know you are going to Mugen and walk towards Kalakaua under the covered awning. From there turn right and we are immediately past the ABC store.

Join us for an exclusive wine pairing of selected small, family-owned producers from Burgundy, curated by Master Sommelier Roberto Viernes. Roberto has spent years traveling to Burgundy, forging relationships with these winemakers that rarely export their wines due to the limited quantity. The event will start at 6:00 p.m. with a breathtaking sunset view of Waikiki while enjoying Champagne Laherte La Bouteille Rose de Meunier. Dinner will commence shortly after sunset, featuring Hokkaido Uni, Maine Lobster, Ora King Salmon, and Frutti di Bosco. Throughout the evening, Roberto will introduce each wine and explain how it pairs with each dish. A delightful and educational experience!

Please note that the visibility of the setting sun varies throughout the year, and while the sky will remain beautifully lit up, the setting orb of the sun may be partially obscured, offering a unique and intimate ambiance.” Minimum Two guests ($280 for two): One ounce Golden Osetra Caviar - (serves two), Includes two glasses of Louis Roederer "Collection 244" Brut Champagne, cured egg yolk, chives, creme fraiche, shallots, smoked sturgeon pate, taro chips, and buttermilk blinis. Additional ounce of caviar available at $180 per tin. This is an outdoor event and is limited to one hour.

Amazing food and the service was impeccable. Their wine pairing was done very well. The staff is so knowledge and their sommelier is top notch. Amazing dinner for Valentines. Can’t wait to go again for the regular dinners and try out all the pre fixe menus. Thank you again!

Luved especially the lobster risotto. The chocolate dessert was kinda off. Somehow I don't think the pineapple enhanced the dessert. Service was excellent! Will be back!

Exceptional fine dining experience that exceeded all expectations! We had such a memorable evening at Mugen celebrating my husband’s birthday. The staff are professional yet personable & unbelievably attentive without being intrusive. The food created by Chef Colin Sato is truly a work of art visually & matched by flavor. We started our evening with Champagne and Caviar & a sunset view on the rooftop. Inside we were treated to the tasting menu with wine pairing. Our waiter Edwardo & sommelier Douglas were exceptional & such a pleasure . Wes the general manager gave us the royal treatment & we appreciated getting to know the entire staff. This is an establishment that is passionate about their craft & it shows. A true master class on exceptional dining. Thank you Wes,Edwardo,Ricardo,Douglas,Sharri & Chef Colin Sato for such a wonderful experience!

Hard to find another place that literally has it all! From the staff, ambiance, the food presentation, and taste! Great place to celebrate special occasions. The staff created such a memorable first time experience for us, that we look forward to our next visit! Love the surprise chocolate they give at the end! It was totally unexpected and is quite heavenly.

Wow, wow and wow!!! Amazing view of Waikiki beachfront, perfect service and exquisite decor. If you need a special spot for that special someone, Mugen Champagne & Caviar service is the perfect treat. Can’t put in words how magnificent this place is!!!!

Impeccable fine dining. The suited front-of-house staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable without being overly formal. Each course was a work of art visually. Interesting and beautiful flavor/texture compositions. Make an excuse to eat here.

This was as good as any Michelin 3 star experience, I have had. Everything was fantastic. Gourmet continental dining with a little Hawaiian twist. Food outstanding, wine pairing outstanding, service outstanding, price fair.
