All orders will be available for pickup on 12.24.24, between 11a-2pm + come with complete reheating instructions. To place an order, email jcshurts@suretyhotel.com and request an order sheet. Once completed and returned, your card will be charged for the meal. You will receive confirmation of purchase via email. Please note we only have 15 packages available.

                  Delicious food, excellent service and staff, and a beautiful atmosphere. My only wish is that there were more dessert options with less nut ingredients (for those who can’t have them; this made the dessert menu very limited). But the appetizers, dinner, drinks, environment, and superb customer service still made the dining experience 5 stars!

                  Really nice vibe, ambience, cocktails and good menu. I ordered the short rib pasta and my husband ordered the hamburger-both were delicious. I would come back to this hotel/restaurant in a heartbeat. Attentive staff, nicely paced food service, very relaxing and enjoyable.

                  First time here. They were out of two f the main entrees, which were the two our table was most interested in. Server did not tell us this until we were ready to order. Server also advised they were almost out of other dishes as well. There’s not a lot of entrees on the menu, so this really limited the available options. Our table ordered the meatloaf, which was just okay. Not a great first experience and don’t think I will be back.

                  As I searched for restaurants within walking distance to the DesMoines Civic Center, I discovered Mulberry Street Tavern, what a find! Made Open Table on Thursday for 5:30 Friday night. We walked to the lovely MST within the beautiful Surety Hotel, we were greeted and sat immediately. The owner welcomed us, gave a bit of history and discussed the locally sourced farms/butchers and businesses they use for the small but well appointed menu. With drinks ordered (glad for the NA options!) we decided to share the Ricotta Gnudi as a starter, a hearty butter and Parmesan sauce accompanied by mushrooms and gnudi, so good. Robert was our attentive and helpful server, he knew the menu, was cheerful and pleasant. I ordered the seasonal pot pie (filled with mushrooms, carrots, onions and a side salad), husband ordered the meatloaf that came with carrots and mashed potatoes. The food was outstanding, unique, flavorful, filling, beautifully presented and brought out in a timely (not rushed) manner, only wished we had room for dessert. Thank you, MST, for a delightful pre-show dinner date at Mulberry Street Tavern, our compliments to Chef Michael, Robert and the management team, we will be back!

                  First time visiting Mulberry Street Tavern and we will definitely go back. Wonderful and well- timed service. Our server Andre was one of the best and able to thoughtfully answer any questions about the food. Overall a really awesome experience, setting, and food.
