Mulino Italian Kitchen and Bar, a locally owned Italian restaurant that has been named one of Raleigh's best by Raleigh Magazine. Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, minutes from the Raleigh Convention Center, Mulino offers an authentic dining experience that showcases the rich flavors and traditions of Italy. Guests can enjoy classic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients, perfectly paired with wines from Italy & beyond.

Mulino’s inviting atmosphere includes cozy indoor seating & a beautiful outdoor patio, available on a first-come basis. Mulino can accommodate parties from 2 to 250 guests. For groups of 12 or more, a special large-party menu is available to enhance your dining experience.

Parking is available at 209 N. Dawson Street, 329 N McDowell Street, and streetwise along Lane Street.

                                                                                                                    The service was outstanding. The food was not good. My wife’s dish came out cold, and tasted like cardboard, she had the carbonara, lasagna, the béchamel sauce was grainy. Others got pizza, gnocchi, and bolognese dishes. The gnocchi was the best dish at the table. We came, tasted, and won’t be back.

                                                                                                                    This was my first time at Mulino my wife wanted to come here for her Birthday we were a little upset at first because we made reservation for 5:30 a week in advance but I guess they had a wedding party already booked and they called us the day before our reservation to push our time back an hour needless to say I was not happy but I must say the food and the service was outstanding enough that the time no longer matter to me we are making a family reservation as we speak for my oldest sons birthday on February the 15th this is an outstanding restaurant with outstanding service

The best bread and lasagna I have had in Raleigh in a long time. The lasagna was perfectly spiced, noodles were tender with a great balance of meat and cheese. The waitress was very professional, kind and helpful. Highly recommend Mulino!

                                                                                                                    What a wonderful way to spend NYE! An outstanding dinner sitting poolside. The lamb shank special was out of this world delicious, as was the Tagliatelle! We started by sipping exquisite homemade limoncello and espresso martinis, and finished with a house made vanilla creme brulee. The ambience, staff, and service were top notch! Happy New Year and to a prosperous 2025!!

                                                                                                                    No one ever totally satisfies the New Years eve meal experience because of the hectic demand. BUT MULINOS DID. They were on the button on every count. Beautiful ambiance, attentive service (Ben) and wonderful food. What more could you want. My wife also introduced them to the Toasted Almond Martini , to which they rose to the occasion. Terrific evening all around. Parking. although in high demand on the 31st, is a Major advantage.

                                                                                                                    When you make a reservation in the winter it would be nice to be asked whether you prefer indoor or outdoor”outdoors.” Luckily it was 55 degrees and there outdoor tent provided some shelter but would have preferred to be inside the restaurant

The quality of the food is exceptional and the flavors are so unique and addicting! The service is also top notch. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Our favorite Italian restaurant in Raleigh.
