Mulino Italian Kitchen and Bar, a locally owned Italian restaurant that has been named one of Raleigh's best by Raleigh Magazine. Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, minutes from the Raleigh Convention Center, Mulino offers an authentic dining experience that showcases the rich flavors and traditions of Italy. Guests can enjoy classic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients, perfectly paired with wines from Italy & beyond.

Mulino’s inviting atmosphere includes cozy indoor seating & a beautiful outdoor patio, available on a first-come basis. Mulino can accommodate parties from 2 to 250 guests. For groups of 12 or more, a special large-party menu is available to enhance your dining experience.

Parking is available at 209 N. Dawson Street, 329 N McDowell Street, and streetwise along Lane Street.

                                                                                                                    This is not our first visit to Mulino’s. We have never come to Raleigh and not eaten there. It is the best restaurants in Raleigh.

You get what you pay for, service was very quick even during a time where the venue was noticeably busy, outside seating is more intimate, whereas inside has a more traditional restaurant vibe, although there are more intimate tables available if booked sufficiently in advance

Mulino’s recently helped me arrange a last minute work dinner and I couldn’t have been more impressed! From the moment I made the reservation, the manager was incredibly helpful, communicative, and accommodating to all of our needs. They were fully prepared for our arrival, ensuring everything went smoothly. What really stood out was how much more welcoming and accommodating this restaurant was compared to others in the downtown area. Many places seemed unwilling or unprepared to handle a semi large party (10-14). It was a huge relief to find Mulino’s and receive such prompt and helpful communication throughout arranging the reservation. They were flexible to our needs and agile as the headcount fluctuated a bit. The service throughout the meal was top-notch—attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was stunning, with a perfect balance of elegance and comfort that made for a wonderful dining experience. And of course, the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. One thing to note if you're driving and parking in Mulino’s parking lot: you can only enter if you're traveling southbound on Capitol, which turns into Dawson, or westbound on Lane. Just a small detail, but worth mentioning to save some time! Highly recommend this place for both professional and personal occasions. Can't wait to return! Thank you to the manager and staff for helping make our last minute business dinner seamless, easy, and enjoyable!!!!

                                                                                                                    From NYC and this was our first time at Mulino’s celebrating my son’s birthday. Pros: staff and servers were amazing. Beautiful restaurant with nice ambiance. Cons: overpriced food with very small portions for both appetizer and entrees. This was the first Italian restaurant where I had to pay for bread?!? $5 for a soda?!? Mulino’s did absolutely nothing for my son’s birthday. How bout a free desert? Candle? Something!
