Located in Edinburgh’s Old Town, MUMS Great Comfort Food specialises in traditional British dishes and retro favourites. It’s a short walk from Waverley Station, Edinburgh Castle and the National Museum of Scotland. The MUMS team believe that gourmet food should be available to everyone, so the décor is simple and the prices affordable. As the name suggests, the menu consists of thoughtfully prepared comfort classics like sausage and mash, pies and stews, fish and chips, and macaroni cheese. Hearty breakfasts are available until noon and MUMS gourmet burgers are made with top quality chicken, venison and even Wagyu beef. Save room for the treacle and date pudding or their old school Banana Split.
