We had reservations and we were seated right as we arrived. We were greeted by a very attentive waiter named Vincent, who provided great service without being obtrusive. The menu was fairly limited, but there were several specials offered. We ordered two small starters, the house made rolls with special whipped butter flavored with pistachio and orange, not that you could taste either. The rolls themselves were pedestrian at best they seemed to be like store bought parker house rolls only not as good. We also ordered miso cauliflower and miso, which was supposed to be lightly fried , glazed with miso and flavored with calabrian chili and scallions. The cauliflower was undercooked and there were no scallions. There were (unadvertised) raw red onions in the dish which overpowered the entire thing. We both decided on burgers thinking they would be a safe bet. My friend ordered the special burger made with quinoa, I ordered the Murph burger. Neither was very good. There was scant toppings on the burgers, the murph had limp lettuce, remoulade sauce that reeked with horseradish, and burnt but still very chewy bacon and maybe one or two pieces of fried shallot. It was not good,. The quinoa burger had no texture and heavily garlic flavored sauce on it. Also subpar. Both were served with pave potatoes which were a grayish oil laden patty, basically a bad hash brown-but as I said gray. We each had 2 glasses of wine and the bill came to a total of $122-not cheap, and really disappointing because of the quality of food. I would not return there for another meal.
