Two chefs of The Spice Route Co. were sent on this ambitious task of traveling 29 states of India; gathering stories and experiences along the way and bringing home age-old regional recipes, which have been translated into our eclectic menu. You’ll find Musaafer in Houston in the Galleria shopping complex, close to the city’s lively business district. The elegant two-story space with sweeping windows offers a luxurious and memorable dining experience. Went for Valentine's Day. Food was on point except that it was actually too much. Bill was over $400 for two people. No drinks involved. That came out to $40 per course for a six course meal for two people.

Absolutely fabulous! We did the tasting menu. Cedric was fantastic & fun. Everyone was very friendly & the food is so delicious…bursting w/ flavor. TOP-NOTCH. We will definitely be back!

First time trying this restaurant and my bestie and I were very satisfied. We had an awesome and knowledgeable server aka food guide in Melissa, so ask for her. Musaafer is a fantastic food experience with top service and so deserving to be awarded a 1 Michelin Star for 2024. For starters we ordered Escolar Ceviche that’s super delicious and really a light/fresh dish. We also ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala as a second starter and is quite fantastic! It takes a little time to cook in the tandoori oven so be patient and order it first. Lamb Nihari is fall off the bone tender and the sauce is chef’s kiss! The Butter Chicken Experience is a must! The butter chicken comes 2 ways with half traditional sauce and the other half is tomatillo based sauce which we liked more but both are very tasty. For dessert, we ordered the Rasmalai, which is a very light, fruity and refreshing dessert with a saffron based sauce. I’m not a fan of the saffron sauce but I still love it! We are definitely coming back as to try the other dishes Musaafer offers!

Tasty food, great Indian wine (yes, you read that correctly). Amazing presentation and top notch service. The Rizala was amazing, baingan barta beyond delicious. Appetizers put a smile on my face. Overall an amazing experience. I’ll definitely return and recommend.
