Two chefs of The Spice Route Co. were sent on this ambitious task of traveling 29 states of India; gathering stories and experiences along the way and bringing home age-old regional recipes, which have been translated into our eclectic menu. It’s fine dining in a palace! The food was amazingly flavorful, and the presentation was surprisingly creative. The wait staff was so knowledgeable and patient. Definitely will come back soon…

Musaafer is a unique experience...exquisite food; beautiful furnishings; attentive service. sections of the restaurant convey an old-school men's club vibe. other sections offer dining within curtained privacy. one doesn't dine at Musaafer if cost is a consideration. this restaurant is a cut way above any Indian food venue in Houston and is well worth the price. I appreciated being told that an automatic 20% gratuity is added to every bill. Staff is quite pleased with the newly awarded Michelin Star. well deserved!

We love Indian food but had never been here. We have apparently been missing out on some great food! The ambience is incredible and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. This was definitely matched by the food! The two appetizers were delicious (shrimp and onion pakora) and quite filling. The mains were equally great although I’ve never seen beef vindaloo with filet mignon although I’m not complaining! The wine list is excellent. Service is one of the strong points and our waiter did a great job explaining things to us. It was a bit pricey but it’s The Galleria and quality food so not a big deal. The patio was a bit noisy thanks to Westheimer only being a few hundred feet away but it wasn’t obnoxious. If you want a quiet dinner, the patio isn’t good. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant and worth the hassle of dealing with The Galleria!

I love coming to Mussafer , food was great , presentation top notch but seating wasn’t great ,we were siting in the sheeshmahal , were very uncomfortable to sit as cushion had lost its firmness , time to upgrade now .

It was a beautiful restaurant. Our waiter was amazing. Personable, knowledgeable and helpful. The Butter Chicken Ecperience was exceptional. We also enjoyed the Baingan Bhata with the garlic naan. My favorite was the Anjeer dessert. A piece of art that was the perfect ending to our meal. It was a very enjoyable experience.
