We had a fantastic evening celebrating a 40th birthday dinner. The staff were warm and welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and lives up the restaurants Michelin star . All the produce was fresh and sourced from Ireland. We had the tasting menu and we did not regret it , as we were able to experience a range of dishes. My particular favourite was the sovereign street black pudding! As Ian ( the front of staff ) would say “we had a grand time ! “

Fantastic dinner for my husbands birthday. Food was excellent and the staff were all lovely. My husband is a big fan of Anna Haugh and she came up to meet him which was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a special dinner.

Overall really good experience, will definitely be back and would recommend. food amazing and service attentive just a bit sloppy at times.

An absolute gem and one of the best we have ever been too. The staff amazingly friendly and knowledgeable of all the food, the background behind it and how it is made.

First visit and it was absolutely amazing so pleased to have found this gem. Staff were brilliant, relaxed and chatty. Food was absolutely delicious and every course was well described and explained. Would highly recommend and will be back in the future

Tasting menu and wine pairing were both excellent. It’s designed to be a culinary experience and it lives up. The staff were attentive and informative.

Don't normally leave reviews. My partner summed it up as we left the restaurant...."I wouldn't go back." I am surprised by the first impression you get in the restaurant. Your initial view is dominated by wine racks, fridges and the bar dominates the centre of the ground floor....it's like the tables were an afterthought and have had to be 'squeezed in' to the layout. Every time the team ran up and down the stairs the table shook and it was (understandably) constant on a busy Friday evening. You actually felt like you were having dinner in somone's front room. The team member who was allocated to our table rushed and mumbled every course throughout the service and I had to ask him to repeat exactly what each course was and even then, still not clear. My partner commented on him afterwards and said that he came over as not wanting to be there on the night. I agreed with her. The food was ok and the fish course was excellent....however, dinner is about the whole experience and we really would not want to go back again. It was not enjoyable.
