   Restaurant has a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Staff was attentive and friendly, as if being invited to their family dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the grape leaves, falafel, and the rack of lamb. These were all authentically prepared and were so delicious that you felt you were transported to a village in Greece. For us, the star of the evening was the grilled octopus appetizer. We have tried octopus at every restaurant that it is available. Myrtos wins! It is clearly the best octopus dish we have ever eaten. Well done! Glad to have another great restaurant in the area. Highly recommend! Also a BYOB.

   Had the zucchini lasagna. Hardly any zucchini in it and consequently dry.

   Wonderful new restaurant in Downingtown. Tablecloths, etc. Lovely ambiance. Food was delicious and staff and owner very accommodating and friendly. Has its own parking lot with handicapped parking in the rear. Plus, it's BYOB! What's not to like?

   This was my first visit to Myrtos & it was packed. I waited for about 10 mins to be seated by the friendly maitre de. The atmosphere was lively, boisterous & fun. I wouldn't recommend it for a first date but with friends & family - perfect!! Nice pita bread to nibble & the octopus plate was excellent. A mixture of octopus, minced olives, chillies & onion. My main course of scallops & beans was OK. The beans were excellent, scallops a little rubbery. My dinner date had the stuffed peppers which were very tasty. Dessert was baklava which was delicious. Personally I like mine a room temp but considering the volume of traffic, understandable if a little cold.. The head chef & owner came out to talk & ask us how.we liked the place. Gave some observations about letting people know about overflow parking options which you'll need on popular evenings. Overall I'll go back again with friends to try out the lamb.

    We had reservations for 7:30, we were not seated until 8:30, we did not receive any food until 9:25. We ordered apps and our main meals, they brought everything out at the same time. The entire experience was horrible and I WILL NEVER GO BACK and give them any money. I will make sure everyone I know knows my opinion. The waiter kept apologizing, he was great, we had no issue with the waiter. Just the idea that management never came over and apologized says a lot about the place.
