                        Food was great, although long in coming. One person at our table did not get her entre until the others has finished theirs. There were several discrepancies with the bill which were eventually resolved.

                        Overall it was poor..party of 6..they brought out three of the orders.. about 15 min later they brought out the other 3 orders..Brunch..Food mediocre.. will not go back..

                        I had a large party of 21 and they did an excellent job accommodating us and making us comfortable even though we made some last minute changes. I had the chicken and waffle and it was well seasoned and tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and the cocktails. Our server was sweet and efficient. It is a beautiful restaurant located within a south side architectural gem and I plan on going again.

                        Because of all the raving reviews, best friend and I visited yesterday evening. The service is one of the best I encountered in a very long time. From the hostess, to our waiter, to the entire staff, I was amazed. We started out with the oysters for an appetizer and they were delicious. For dinner, we went with the lamb chops on top of mashed potatoes (the best mashed potatoes I had in years) and red snapper (not on the menu) and trio Mac and cheese. My best friend said it was delicious. We will be back soon to try more items on the menu.

                        What a Welcome ray of Southside dining Sunshine. My lunch was perfection. The ambience was spot on. Views of the Lakefront horizon, wonderful ceiling floral arrangements and a background soundtrack you could easily talk over but hear and groove too. My meal was beyond tasty and the staff were on point. Service providing can be very repetitive, pushing enthusiasm and a genuine desire to please is a skill set that flowed openly. Thanks for a terrific afternoon.. I will be back.

                        Wonderful experience for my birthday. Everyone was very welcoming and polite. Our waitress proposed great options to try when asked and the drinks were superb! I had the red snapper which was the special and the kale greens. PHENOMENAL AND FRESH! Definitely will be returning especially when it is warmer!

                        My sister and I took my mother here for her birthday and we all loveddddd the food and they are hard critics lol. Everything we ordered was great. We had the catfish and grits, collard and kale, Mac and cheese, glazed salmon, grilled shrimp and ceviche. I also had the Peach sidecar which was great and my sister had a Lavender spritz mocktail which she loved as well. Our server, Dominique was also good. I am big on customer service especially in today’s economy where eating out is a luxury. There was already a 18% automatic gratuity which I was fine with bc of the great service. They also gave my mom a small brownie with a candle for her birthday. We will be back for brunch!

                        Service was excellent. Food was very enjoyable! The new atmosphere was very open and tropical however, a part of me misses the romantic privacy options that the tall booths brought within the former parrot cage. Very happy that they seemed to improve and maintain the outdoor enclosure ., however again, the table and seating arrangements need to be made bigger for comfortably of larger groups and food service purposes. Perfect for groups of 2 to 4.
